Markell cosmetics: composition characteristics and product description

Markell cosmetics have been produced by a Belarusian company since 1993. The main concept of the brand: "cosmetics should become the best friend of every woman." Based on this, the company offers mass-market series of care cosmetics: it can be bought freely in supermarket departments, and its cost is affordable for every woman.

All Markell cosmetics are aimed at programmed care. For each age and skin type, there is its own line, which includes products:

• for removing makeup;
• for daily use (creams, lotions);
• weekly use (masks, patches);
• for deep cleaning of the skin (scrubs).

Each product in the line enhances the effect of the other, however, this does not mean that in combination with a product from another line of effect, there will be no effect. Another feature of the brand is cooperation with foreign companies for the production of active natural ingredients for creams, shampoos and masks. These are Brazilian extracts of ginseng, white lily, Swiss microalgae extract, Spanish stem cell complex of plant origin.

Care products from the Belarusian brand are divided into 3 areas:

• face care (face creams, face masks, face scrubs, eye creams, deep-acting ampoules, additional care);

• hair care (shampoos, balms, masks, styling sprays, styling);

• body care (hand products, foot products, body creams and milk, auto bronzers, scrubs, masks and wraps, deodorants).

Each type is subdivided into 3 levels: professional, nature, everyday. The professional line is focused on carrying out salon procedures at home, but can be recommended for use in beauty salons. Natural direction is 95% plant-based and even includes such a unique ingredient as snail mucin.

The advantages of cosmetics clearly include:

• work not for momentary visibility, but for a deep result;
• the presence (up to 95%) of natural ingredients in the composition;
• visible result after daily use within a month;
• affordable price (the cost of a jar of cream does not exceed 350 rubles);
• a large assortment.

The disadvantages include consumers:

• the absence of the smell of fragrances in some products (a very controversial issue, given that many do not like the perfume smell of cosmetics on their hair and body);
• snail mucin creams leave a sticky feeling on the body;
• film masks weakly cleanse the pores without pulling out their contents;
• not all products from the everyday direction are suitable for daily use (for example, scrubs have rather hard particles, and creams have a dense, oily consistency).

Despite some shortcomings, Markell company makes high-quality and inexpensive care cosmetics for body, face and hair.
