The disadvantage of terry cloth is that it dries for a long time. In addition, a terry product, which absorbs moisture very well, has a thick and high pile and is therefore rather heavy. The fabric must be protected from contact with objects that can catch on the pile and pull out its loops.

Waffle fabric also perfectly absorbs moisture and is hypoallergenic, while it has good air permeability (that is, it allows air to pass through to the body well) and dries quickly. Also, the waffle fabric is characterized by wear resistance, it is durable and can be washed at high temperatures. It's also lightweight and doesn't take up much space in your bag. In addition, a waffle pareo is cheaper than other options.

Bath towel dresses are also made of linen. It is considered the most durable and wear-resistant among natural fabrics, it also has excellent breathability (allows the body to breathe) and is very durable, while it does not require special care. Moisture evaporates from it faster than from other types of fabrics, so it is very comfortable to wear linen clothes in the heat - you can not be afraid of overheating, and a linen towel dress is very suitable for a bath.

Bamboo fiber fabric is similar to linen in some of its properties. It is excellent breathability, wear resistance, strength, natural antimicrobial effect. Bamboo fiber fabric is considered artificial, but it is made from natural raw materials. It does not wrinkle and is pleasant to the touch.

Some craftswomen make such bath dresses from ordinary towels. Parts of the Velcro fastener are attached to the ends of the towel, taking into account the expected depth of the smell, and the middle of the cloth is gathered by an elastic band, which is sewn on the inside about a centimeter from the edge. The width of the elastic band can be different, choose it taking into account the weight of the towel, the length is determined after trying on. When trying on, the elastic should be slightly pulled.

In order to sew on the elastic, you will need a piece of cotton fabric along the length of the elastic and slightly wider than it. It is sewn to the towel along the top edge, then an elastic is threaded into the resulting drawstring and fixed along the edges of the segment. After the Velcro is sewn on, the pareo is ready.
