Many children love to create beautiful applications with their own hands. They can be made from various materials. Such compositions on the theme of autumn are considered popular options. Today we will analyze how to make applications in the form of falling leaves.

First, let's see how to make a simple composition that even a kid can handle. First of all, you should prepare all the materials necessary for this.

Sketches of autumn trees with leaves and clouds are drawn on colored paper with a simple pencil. All this is carefully cut out with scissors. After that, the finished parts are glued to a cardboard dense base.

Such a discontinuous manufacturing option can be perfect for children 4-5 years old. First, you need to choose a background for the future autumn composition. A sheet of cardboard or blue or blue paper will do.

Next, you need to cut a tree trunk out of paper material. Better to use black or brown leaf. In this case, the part should expand slightly towards the end. The cut out element is glued from below along the central part of the base.

Then several other sheets are prepared (red, yellow, green and orange). They are torn into small pieces of different shapes. Scissors are not used for this. We will need:

• white paper (A3 format);
• stationery knife;
• scissors;
• glue mass;
• colored paper;
• paints;
• paint brush;
• double sided tape;
• simple pencil;
• acorn.

An A3 sheet is folded in half; oak leaves are painted on one of its halves. They are cut along the contour lines. There will be a gradient inside such elements. The sheet is completely turned back and a contour is outlined on its second half.

After that, using a simple pencil, draw lines along which the craft will be glued. The upper part should not be glued, but in the lower and central parts it is better to leave about 2 or 3 centimeters. This hole will fit a handle with a stop arrow.

A sheet of the required format is cut out along the contour marks. It should be slightly less than half of the A3 sheet. The resulting base will then be painted with various bright colors, while forming an interesting gradient.

Next, you will need to cut a small strip 8-10 centimeters long from the second sheet. This will become our pen.

At the final stage, a gradient is formed, for this you can use watercolor or gouache. It is better to use fall colors: yellow, orange, red, burgundy, light shades of green. When all the compositions are selected, vertical lines of the selected colors are drawn on a white sheet with a brush, the paint will have to dry, at this time a twig is glued to the leaves. It is better to do this with double-sided tape.

In the end, all that remains is to draw the cuttings with felt-tip pens, glue the acorn to complete the composition, glue A3 with the drawn contours. When everything is dry, a handle is attached to the sheet. The craft is ready! Now, using the pen, your child can move the gradient sheet and the leaves will change color. The resulting craft can be framed and hung on the wall.

And a good option would be such an autumn applique in the form of a pattern with cut out various leaves. To do this, take one sheet of plain white paper. A background is made on it in advance, it is best to just draw the sky and grass or earth with colored pencils.

And also with a brown pencil draw a tree trunk and branches on it. At the same time, several sheets of paper material of different bright colors are taken. To get the most accurate and beautiful leaves, you should use templates. They are applied to the paper, outlined with a simple pencil and cut out. Large details can be made.

When the leaf blades are completely ready, they begin to gradually be fixed on the branches of the painted tree. Several elements are attached to the bottom of the leaf, they will resemble fallen leaves.

Another good option for a child would be making crafts with artificial maple leaves. As in the previous version, first, on a white paper base, the background is drawn up with colored pencils or paints, then the trunk and branches of a tree are drawn in the same place.

Medium sized maple leaf templates are then prepared. They are applied to paper of red, green, orange colors, outlined and cut along the marked lines. After that, veins are formed on the resulting leaf plates; this can be done using a dark gel thin pen or felt-tip pen. In this case, the maple leaves can be printed out immediately, rather than cut out separately.

Many children make such applications with cotton pads. To do this, prepare several such circles from cotton wool. They are painted with yellow and red gouache, and then they are all sent to dry. At this time, the crown of the tree is being prepared. For this, a household napkin is used, it is covered with brown paint.

After the crown and cotton pads are completely dry, you can begin to form a general composition. First, the crown is glued to the cardboard, and only then the sheet plates are gradually laid out. In this case, they will have to slightly overlap each other. At the final stage, you can cut out a few small clouds and the sun from blue and yellow paper.
