Application on the theme "Ladybug"
ladybug - one of the cutest insects that even one-year-olds recognize. In kindergarten, it is the ladybug that becomes the heroine of creative works, including applications. And there are many pretty ideas on how to try to portray an insect in different artistic variations.
How to make an applique from circles?
For preschool children, an application made of colored paper on the theme "Ladybug" will be interesting and accessible. The peculiarity of the work is that insects will be made from pattern circles.
What you need to work:
-
colored paper - black, red, white, yellow, green;
-
scissors;
-
PVA glue or glue stick;
-
ruler 20 cm;
-
black felt-tip pen;
-
paper templates.
The work progress consists of several steps.
-
You need to take a sheet of green paper, put it horizontally in front of you, draw a straight line below using a ruler. Cut off a piece of paper along the drawn line.
-
Fold the strip in half and make vertical cuts from edge to edge. Straighten the fringe strip.
-
Using a simple pencil, you can make weed from the strip. It is enough to draw a pencil from the place of the notch to the edge to form a curl.
-
The grass must be glued to the background - a white sheet of thick watercolor paper. If you get a surplus, you need to cut it off.
-
A wide strip is to be cut out of black paper. A circle template is cut out of white paper (or cardboard), the diameter of which is 7 cm.
-
This round template should be attached to black paper, outlined with a pencil. And two such details are required.
-
Then another white round pattern is made, but already smaller. Its diameter is 3 cm.It is applied to black paper, and again two such parts are cut out.
-
The same is done with red paper - templates with a diameter of 7 cm, circles, cutting out four such parts.
-
On the lawn, which is already formed by the fringed grass, insects are laid out. The black large circle is the body, the black small circle is the head.
-
Two red circles must be folded in half, these will be the wings of an insect, they should turn out to be voluminous.
-
To make dots on the wings, you need to cut small circles of black paper. This is very easy to do with a hole punch - the circles inside the tool are good points.
-
A template for a butterfly is drawn from white paper (for adults). Then the template is transferred to yellow paper. For this work, 3 butterflies are used. At the discretion of the author, there can be more or less of them, you can change the colors. Butterflies also fold in half, glued to the sheet with the central part. The body of a butterfly and antennae are drawn with a black felt-tip pen. The antennae are also painted on to the ladybug.
Craft for preschool children is ready!
Stages of performing volumetric applique
To make a voluminous craft, you can use paper strips. A child of 3-4 years old will cope with such work (not without the help of an adult). Children of this age are happy to accept bulky toys, but the adhesive strips must be cut out in advance.
What you need for work: black, red and white colored paper, glue, scissors, a ruler and a pencil.
Here is the work plan step by step.
-
Draw a circle on red paper, for example, tracing the bottom of the glass. Then the same red strips are cut, the width of which is 1 cm.
- The end of the strip (1-1.5 cm) is bent and glued to the plane of the red circle. Do the same with the second end of the strip. An arc of stripes rises above the circle. Gradually there will be a lot of them.
- The next strip is glued relative to the first at an angle of 90 degrees. Next, the strips are fixed so that all the voids are closed. The number of stripes is difficult to predict initially.
- Then you need to make the head, mustache and eyes. Small black circles are cut out. A semicircle, antennae, is created for the head. Small white ovals are made for the eyes. You can draw the pupils with a marker.
- The head and black dots are glued into place.
To complement the craft, you can plant a ladybug on a leaf. To do this, according to the template, you need to cut out two identical sheets of green velvet paper. Glue the sheets together so that the bottom is also velvety. The ladybird is fixed to the sheet with glue - the composition is finished.
There are other ideas for volumetric applique.
-
An insect in the grass... Long thin stripes are cut out of green paper to create tall grass. The ladybug is traditionally made from circles, but its back will consist of four red circles bent in half and glued to each other. The work can be decorated with a thin black frame.
- Fan applique. Such a composition will also look original: an insect surrounded by daisies, and it sits on a green fan. This work can be done suspended, hung on the wall.
- Garland of ladybugs. Any exhibition will be decorated with such work: insects are cut out of circles, strung in a convenient way on a strong thread, alternating with red and white flowers, as well as polka-dot circles.
- Insect in a paper cone. Such work can also be considered a voluminous craft - the paper is rolled into a cone, fixed on a wooden skewer, wings are attached to it from behind, and an insect's face is inside the cone.
- Ladybug on a camomile. Instead of paper flower heads, you can use disposable plates, this will add originality to the craft. Otherwise, everything is simple: colored paper and small strokes with a black felt-tip pen.
And this does not exhaust the ideas of crafts with a ladybug.
Other interesting ideas
From the simplest works designed for kids 2-4 years old, to complex geometric compositions: a cute insect inspires creative people to interesting projects.
Here are 10 cool ideas that you can repeat.
-
It is convenient to use textured colored paper and cardboard as an original solution for simple ideas. Anything that would be done the same way out of ordinary paper would look much simpler.
- Why, instead of semicircular wings, not to make the heroine wings created from the prints of the child's palms. Kids love these ideas with humor.
- You can combine cutting and drawing parts from colored paper with drawing. The result is combined works that look very cool at any exhibition.
- This is an ordinary drawing, but if you decompose it into details, you get a good scheme for creating a project, a panel.
- You can use cloth instead of paper. For example, felt. It is easy to work with him, including for children, because he does not crumble, does not “dissolve”. You can put a synthetic winterizer inside these ladybirds, and then the craft will become voluminous.
- Not everyone will be able to achieve this skill: almost a knitted picture. But she suggests that thread trimming can be used to create an applique.
- Accordion insects are the favorites of children. And you don't have to do anything particularly difficult: bend the red sheet of paper correctly, and then cut it off correctly.
- It is difficult to fold such a ladybug without a diagram, but for those who like geometric crafts, it will be interesting to come up with their own way of folding. Well, then the voluminous heroine can be fixed on a background suitable for application.
- If you use textured corrugated paper, and also beads, you get such a work of art. The ladybug can be used as part of the applique, or you can turn it into a brooch.
- Instead of black dots, take buttons - all interesting ideas lie on the surface. Well, craft cardboard as a background is what you need for a modern stylish applique.
You can combine several ideas into one, or, inspired by some work, remake it to fit your request and your decisions. Creative appetite can also come with "eating." Happy experiences!
