Make plot applications like many children. It's fun and exciting. We will tell you about what a plot application is and how to make it in the article.

What it is?

A plot applique, as the name implies, is an applique depicting a certain series of events. This kind of craft is done by analogy with ordinary work: the same materials and the same techniques are used.

However, when creating such an application, as a rule, not one character is used, but several - it is this criterion that significantly distinguishes the plot application from the simplest, subject.

At the same time, the plot application is also illustrates a particular scene, which should be clearly reflected. This complicates the task a little, since the emphasis has to be placed on several characters at once and, plus everything, try to make the event depicted on the craft look understandable. However, you can choose the most simplified plot that even a preschooler can handle.

Most often, children take up the creation thematic plot applications... They are usually based on scenes from cartoons, comics and children's stories. But you can come up with a plot yourself. So, on the applique, you can depict the onset of winter, a butterfly flitting on a lawn full of flowers, and others.

It all depends on your imagination and desire to immerse yourself in the creative process.

What can be?

There are the following types of plot applications: breakaway, modular, symmetrical, tape and silhouette.

Cliff the applique is made from pieces of colored paper, tape is made of thin paper strips, modular is made of paper of the same color, from which different shapes are cut. Symmetrical applique means a craft made of halves of different geometric shapes, while silhouette applique means the advance preparation of silhouettes - the contours of figures that can either be drawn or printed.

In addition, plot applications can be made from different materials.... These include coffee beans, plasticine, natural materials, pebbles and shells, cereals and grains, as well as colored paper. The last two materials are the most common. It is from them that it will be easiest for children to make an interesting plot application step by step, without resorting to help from adults.

How to do it yourself?

In order to make a plot application, first of all, you need to decide on the plot and its complexity. This can be an illustration for a piece of art, a landscape, a historical event, a scene from a comic strip, and much more.

If the plot of the future application is complex, then it will be necessary reflect on composition and color, so that the work ends up being beautiful and uncluttered. If you wish, you can make a small sketch so that in the process of work you have something to focus on. Then it remains only to prepare the necessary materials, after which it will be possible to start working.

Let's figure out how to make a simple plot application out of colored paper - a cat and an aquarium with fish. Even kids aged 4-5 years can cope with such a craft on their own.

To create a craft, you will need the following materials:

  • colored paper;

  • cardboard;

  • compass;

  • glue stick or PVA glue;

  • scissors;

  • plastic eyes;

  • markers.

To begin with, we draw and cut out mugs from paper: 5 circles of different diameters for a cat, 2 or more for fish, 1 for an aquarium. We choose the diameter of the circles ourselves, the largest should be the circle for the aquarium.

After that, we start working on the details. Let's start with the aquarium. Cut off the upper part from the large circle, stepping back a few centimeters from the edge - this part will be a stand for the aquarium.

Now we do details for the formation of a cat... We make his body from the largest circle. To do this, we bend the part strictly in half and cut off half of it, thereby obtaining a semicircle - just one such part will be required for the subsequent formation of the applique.

Now we take two smaller circles and also divide them in half, thus getting 4 parts for the legs. We make ears in a similar way. However, they only need a quarter of a circle. That is, you need to make a semicircle and divide it in half. The remaining circle is needed to form the cat's face.

After that, we proceed to creating the remaining heroes of the plotfish... They are the easiest to do. We make the body of the fish from circles. If desired, you can somehow diversify them - for example, cut off part of the mug so that the fish has an open mouth. All this is done at your discretion.

We make the fins and tail from semicircles. They can be made of paper other than the color of the fish's body.

Now we lay out the details on cardboard, building the composition, and glue them in the right order. After that, we design the faces of the characters in your plot. We draw the eyes, mouth and other details for the fish with markers at your discretion. Draw a mustache, a nose for the cat and glue the plastic eyes. If there are none, we cut them out of white paper, and make the pupils with a black marker.

The plot application is ready! If you wish, the craft can be diversified with additional elements using felt-tip pens and colored paper.
