Variety of applications on the theme "Animals"
Applications in the form of various animals are made, as a rule, by children in the middle group of kindergarten. A child who is 3-4 years old, or about 5-6 years old, is not difficult to cope with such a task. Plus, creating such paper crafts helps to develop his imagination and teaches independence. We will tell you about what animals can be made of colored paper for children in the article.
What kind of pets can you make?
There are many options for creating voluminous and flat applications in the form of pets with your own hands.
For crafts, you will need the following materials:
- glue stick;
- simple pencil;
- sheets of colored paper;
- sheets of cardboard;
- multicolored markers.
The simplest option is it is the creation of flat appliqués from geometric shapes. Let's disassemble it for a start. So, almost any pet can be made from ovals and circles. For example, to make a cat, you will need to draw three circles of approximately the same diameter. We set aside two circles, and cut the third one strictly in half. After that, we proceed to the formation of the application. Two whole circles are the head and body of the animal. We fasten them together with glue, placing the head on top of the body. The rest of the semicircular parts are the legs and tail. We glue them to the body.
Now we draw two approximately identical triangles on colored paper, cut out and glue them - these will be the ears of the animal. It remains to draw him a muzzle with a mustache using a marker. We glue the finished craft to the cardboard. Ready! If desired, the figure can be supplemented with other elements of colored paper - for example, cut out a bright butterfly or a bow for a cat.In addition, the applique can be diversified with the help of drawings with colored pencils or felt-tip pens.
Likewise, any other domestic animal can be made from circles and ovals - for example, a bull, duck, dog, bird or pig.
More painstaking and time-consuming is the work on the breakaway children's applique in the form of pets. For such work you will need:
- colored paper;
- cardboard;
- felt-tip pen;
- simple pencil;
- scissors;
- glue stick or PVA glue.
First of all, you need to outline the outlines of a pet on cardboard with a pencil, be it a cat, a pig or a dog. After that, you can start working with colored paper. It needs to be torn into small and approximately equal pieces, and then fill the picture with it, attaching it with glue. If you work with PVA glue, then in this case you need to be careful, as there is a risk of pouring it over the entire craft, thereby ruining it. After that, you need to finish drawing the animal's face with a felt-tip pen, and circle the contours of its body with a black marker. The cut-off applique is ready!
Making a voluminous pet out of colored paper is also easy. Consider creating a cat. To do this, you will need thick colored paper, scissors, glue, compasses and felt-tip pens. The course of work is as follows: first, draw a semicircle on paper, and then cut out and form a cone from it. After that, we cut out a strip of the same color, the width of which should be approximately the same as the lower part of the cone, no more. We glue the cone, carefully coating the edges of the semicircle with glue. We fold the strip into a ring and also glue it along the edges, thus obtaining a head.
Now we cut out the rest of the parts: two large triangles and two small ones to form the ears, thin stripes for the mustache, two eyes, a nose, legs and a tail. We glue the small triangles somewhere in the middle of the large ones, thereby we get two ears. We bend the lower part of the parts, coat it with glue and glue it to the cat's head. Now we form the muzzle. To do this, glue the eyes, antennae and nose. In front of our eyes, we draw separately the pupils with the help of felt-tip pens to make the cat look more realistic. Now we make a small cross-cut in the lower part of the head, coat that place with glue and fix it on the cone until it stops. It remains only to glue the rest of the parts, and the craft is ready.
Crafting wild beasts
It will also be easy for a kid to make wild animals that live in the North, in Africa or in forests from colored paper. The easiest way would be to make an ordinary applique of geometric shapes - for example, a zebra, forest owl, wolf, bear or fox.
In terms of complexity, such a craft is suitable for kids who are just learning to work with paper. Older children will hardly be interested in making such a craft, they can start creating a breakaway applique.
Consider the creation of an applique in the form of a lion - a resident of hot countries. For such a craft, you will need the following materials:
- colored paper;
- ruler;
- scissors;
- glue;
- cardboard;
- plastic eyes.
First of all, we print the template and outline it on colored paper, and then cut it out. This way you get the main parts, but you need to glue them in the correct order. So, first of all, it is necessary to glue the body with the hind legs, the head with ears and the tail with a tassel to the cardboard. Only after that we glue the part with the front legs.
Now we draw a circle with a compass on a piece of colored paper, the diameter of which should be larger than that of the template muzzle. Using a ruler and a simple pencil, mark the places for the slots, after which we take up the scissors. Please note that you do not need to cut the circle to the end to create a fluffy mane, otherwise the part will simply fall apart. Having finished with this detail, we glue the mane to the head. We attach the muzzle on top, and plastic eyes to it. We draw the rest of the missing parts with felt-tip pens. The craft is ready!
Fabulous options
You can also make a fabulous animal out of colored paper or cardboard, for example, the hero of a well-known cartoon - Cheburashka... The easiest way to make this character is from geometric shapes - circles. To work you will need:
- brown and light paper;
- cardboard;
- glue;
- scissors;
- felt-tip pens.
Cut out 8 pieces of approximately the same diameter circles from brown paper. Cut out two smaller circles from light paper. We glue all these parts together, forming a Cheburashka. Cut out the eyes of the hero from a sheet of white paper, drawing the pupils on them with a felt-tip pen. We also draw a mouth with a felt-tip pen.
The eyebrows and nose can also be drawn with a marker or cut out of dark paper. The craft is ready!
You can also make a volumetric applique in the shape of a fabulous animal, for example, in the shape of a dragon. To do this, you need:
- colored paper;
- scissors;
- plastic eyes;
- glue;
- simple pencil.
First, you need to cut out the main parts of the animal according to the template - 2 parts for the body and 4 for the paws. Now we take a separate sheet of paper and, stepping back 6 centimeters along the edges, draw lines on it, similar to the sides of an isosceles trapezoid.
Cut off unnecessary areas in the form of triangles. We fold the resulting part into an accordion into 8 parts, after which we bend it in half. This will give you wings for your dragon.
In the same way, we make one more detail - the breast. However, now the workpiece needs to be folded into an accordion into 16 parts. Now we draw the teeth in the form of a wavy line and cut them out so that you later have the opportunity to glue this part.
It must be fixed in the back area with glue between the two halves of the torso.
Glue the breast in the front in the same way. After that, we attach the legs, tongue and plastic eyes. It remains only to deal with the wings. To do this, you need to be careful not to spoil the craft, make slots for the wings on the back and insert them. The craft is ready!
