• cut colored paper into strips of identical length and width;

• conduct a wire into the middle channel of all strips;

For your information: cereals are easily replaced depending on what exactly is at hand. Instead of peas, they use corn, buckwheat, lentils.

Wheat is often replaced by millet or rice. An autumn cereal applique is created using:

• strong cardboard (it will become the base);

• two types of cereals;

• glue stick or PVA;

• a thin twig of a plant;

• dried maple leaf (you can use a fresh leaf, but it will wrinkle).

The background is created from black cardboard. This color scheme fits perfectly into the Halloween theme. You can even try to achieve a darker appearance. The cardboard surface is coated with glue. And also it can be poured (if the consistency allows).
