Almost all children can make applications in the shape of a hedgehog from colored paper. An autumn do-it-yourself accordion craft, as well as a voluminous hedgehog with mushrooms on cardboard for children, can be quite an instructive example. It is worth analyzing how else to make a hedgehog out of paper, what additional methods exist.

A high-quality application of a hedgehog may well be performed even by younger schoolchildren. For work, you will need colored cardboard and colored paper, including black. Basic sequence of work:

• the black sheet is folded in four;

• cut it into 4 rectangles;

• the rectangular sections are folded to obtain 8 strips, each of these strips is cut off;

• they circle the hedgehog according to the outlined pattern (they take pink paper as the basis for drawing);

• cut out the outline of the composition with their own hands;

• stick it on a colored cardboard sheet.

But this is only a preparatory stage. Next, you will need to glue the stripes so that you get "droplets". These blanks must be glued along the contour of the animal being created - from top to bottom. Important: a three-dimensional figure can mean a different number of rows, and everyone can stop at any time, which will make the craft more individual. Then you will need to tear the paper into pieces to make a path of bright leaves - this is required by the imitation of autumn.

The composition for children can be supplemented with mushrooms and even fruits, which are also prepared according to the template.Important: we must not forget about gluing the eyes and nose, about drawing the mouth.

A fun paper hedgehog can be made from strips, which is a little more complicated - this method is great for grade 1 or 2 students. The brown leaf is cut into pieces 10-15 mm wide. They are folded in half, glued and attached to white paper in a semicircle. Put a yellowish paper circle in the middle. Then it will be necessary:

• prepare paws and muzzle;

• finally stick them on the base (after preliminary fitting);

• make white paper eyes (or take ready-made ones from kits for children's creativity);

• draw the nose and mouth with black marker.

An even more sophisticated version is designed for students in grades 3-4. Begin by folding a sheet of black paper. From it you need to cut 4 rectangles of the same area. Each of them is turned into 8 strips. The silhouette of a hedgehog is drawn on a pink sheet.

Later:

• cutting the workpiece along the contour, stick it on the sheet;

• loops obtained from black stripes are attached around the perimeter of the pink blank;

• perform several such rows;

• use pieces of paper to simulate leaves;

• finalizing the figure of a hedgehog;

• decorate the composition with mushrooms and fruits, cut exactly according to the template.

This method is also very interesting and instructive. It is recommended for the development of creative and other skills in children in the middle group of kindergarten and later. However, even parents and other creative adults will also endure a lot if they make such a craft in stages. Begin by folding the A4 sheet into 2 pieces lengthwise. It is best to use yellow paper.

When unfolding, a strip will remain on the sheet, dividing it into 2 parts. The left side of the paper is folded to the right, approximately 45-50 mm. Having driven your finger along the fold, unfold the sheet. We make a cut along the fold line from the left to the middle of the sheet. Remains:

• coat the left section of the sheet up to the fold strip with glue;

• fold the structure in half;

• draw a hedgehog's face with a marker (sometimes the work is simplified by making a pencil sketch first);

• cut through the face, not reaching the extreme lines of 2-3 mm;

• fold the accordion in two;

• glue its parts to each other;

• cut berries or mushrooms from cardboard, decorate the resulting figure with them.

Even children 5-6 years old can make such a craft. The hedgehog is supposed to be supplemented with autumn foliage. The mugs are made from brown paper. Disposable cups are a good template for preparing them. It is better to draw with a pencil, not with scissors.

Beige paper will help shape the head. The black material is needed for the hedgehog nose. The eyes are formed in black and white.

Then it will remain:

• glue folded brown circles to the base;

• use a curly hole punch to knock out maple leaves;

• glue them to the base of the applique.

It is worth considering that this is just a common name. Professionals often say "breakaway application". Educators note that such a solution is suitable for the accelerated development of children and instilling the necessary skills in them. Applique lovers will be able to:
