Long-term use is undesirable, since these curlers dry out the hair, especially the ends. They are quite heavy and uncomfortable, but they do their job well. The curls are uniform, hold for a long time.

• Velvet. They are used mainly in professional salons, since they are quite inconvenient for home use. A special velor coating protects hair from tangling and prevents mechanical damage. Thanks to the holes, air circulation increases and passes through the curls, ensuring quick drying. They are capable of curling short hair and of medium length. They are fixed with special sticks.

In order for the curls to be the same and beautiful, it is necessary not only to choose a curler of a suitable shape, but also to apply the correct method of winding. To do this, you need to wash your hair well with shampoo. Apply a suitable fixing agent, mousse or foam to them, comb well.

Always start winding from the top of the head, then go to the sides and at the end to the front. Moisturize your hair a little as it dries; you can simply spray it with a spray bottle. Rubber-retained curlers can leave creases, which will of course affect your hair. It is better to use sticks or pins for fixing. Never twist the ends when unscrewing.
