Making a bouquet for the teacher with our own hands
Autumn is generous with various school holidays: this is September 1 and Teacher's Day. That is why students, together with their parents, arrange surprises for teachers, think over solemn congratulations and present elegant bouquets. Today we will focus on how to quickly and easily make an unusual bouquet of fruits, nuts, sweets, stationery and, of course, flowers.
How to make a bouquet of flowers?
If you have your own garden area where you grow fresh flowers, you can be considered ready for the holidays. Just collect a beautiful autumn bouquet from them. The classic version is a gorgeous rose arrangement.
By tradition, the school is bouquets of elegant dahlias and majestic gladioli. Small chrysanthemums look simple, but they can be used to create truly delicate and touching bouquets.
A very creative male bouquet will be a composition based on sunflower and wildflowers... Boys usually give such bouquets to teachers.
Field always looks stylish flowers in a miniature box. Such a composition turns out to be simple, but non-trivial and very delicate.
Bouquet of sweets
In recent years, "useful" bouquets have come into vogue, when flowers are complemented by toys, fruits and mini-presents. A bouquet of sweets will be an original gift. To create it you will need:
- wrapped chocolates;
- golden threads;
- thin wire;
- colored paper;
- corrugated paper.
Making a bouquet is easy.
- Cut small squares out of gold-colored paper. Carefully wrap the chocolates around them and secure with thread.From colored corrugated paper, make 2 more squares with a side of 8-10 cm, slightly round the top.
- Stretch the resulting blank from the bottom and center so that it looks like a petal. Fold a couple of blanks together, wrap the candy and secure it again with a thread. Repeat the steps one more time - you should have a beautiful bud.
- Cut a small square out of green corrugated paper and trim its edge so that 5 teeth are formed. Wrap it around the candy bud and secure with glue. Insert wire. Wrap it with a strip of green crepe paper. Cut off the excess tail obliquely.
- If desired, you can add an organza ribbon folded in half to the resulting stalk - this will make the bouquet more elegant and lush. The finished flowers can be taped together and wrapped in decorative paper. Alternatively, you can put the resulting items in the basket. For this, its bottom is covered with foam of the appropriate size, prepared flowers are stuck into it.
Tea bouquets are no less popular - they are suitable for true lovers of this English drink. If you are not sure exactly which variety your teacher likes, make a bouquet of several packages of large leaf tea. The gaps between the packs are filled with sweets, flowers and decorative twigs.
You can combine tea, sweets and add a little honey in one set. In this case, small briquettes of tea are placed on the sides of the festive bouquet, a jar of honey is fixed in the center, and sweets, prepackaged dried fruits, cookies, chocolate bars and other sweets are placed between the rows. To make products by weight look more aesthetically pleasing, it is advisable to use cellophane bags.... Coffee beans, ribbons and paper streamers are used as decorative elements.
An original idea will be a coffee and tea basket. It is prepared by analogy with bouquets, but it is much more spacious. It can be harvested from tea, canned coffee, chocolate and candy. An interesting addition will be seasonings that set off the taste of the drink and give it spicy notes (slices of dried citrus fruits, cinnamon or cloves).
Options from scrap materials
Homemade topiary is very popular as a gift for your beloved teacher. It is immediately clear that a lot of effort, time and soul has been invested in such a product. Topiary can be decorated in any way: students can collect it from leaves, coffee beans or chestnuts.
In addition, for the manufacture of topiary use artificial flowers. They can be ready-made or handmade from paper or fabric. Dried flowers make a good gift.
Usually topiary is made in the form of a beautiful tree. But if we are talking about a gift to the teacher, then models in the form of a bell or a globe will be more appropriate.
More ideas
There are many original ideas for bouquets that can be presented to your favorite teacher.
From fruit
Juicy fruits usually ripen in autumn: grapes, pears, apples, citrus fruits appear on the shelves. On their basis, you can create a beautiful and at the same time useful gift composition... Fruit bouquets are in vogue today, they are no less common than flower bouquets. Most often, tangerines, pomegranates and grapefruits are used for a gift. Dried flowers, curly branches of shrubs and spruce act as decorative elements.
To make the work look harmonious, you need to prepare sticks, wrapping paper, colored ribbons, as well as a small postcard with the text of congratulations.
- Tangerines are planted on wooden skewers entirely, without piercing through. Larger grapefruits and oranges are cut in half, each half is carefully strung on a skewer. The place of the cut is wrapped with cling film.
- The fruit composition is complemented with decorative branches or flowers.
- The lower part of the skewers is trimmed, fixed with tape and attached with wrapping paper.A warm greeting card for your favorite teacher is attached to the center of the composition.
Instead of the listed fruits, you can use any others that are available in the store: kiwi or apples. Some needlewomen make bouquets of grapes and lemons.
Another popular type of bouquet that your favorite teacher will surely appreciate is walnut... It may seem difficult to do it. However, in fact, creating such a gift will not take much time.
You need walnuts for work. To make the bouquet look aesthetically pleasing, you need to take 30-40 pieces. In addition, you will find useful:
- wooden skewers;
- hot melt glue;
- corrugated paper;
- duct tape;
- scissors / garden pruner;
- any decorative elements (beads, toppers, rhinestones).
The work is performed step by step.
- To begin with, the nuts are carefully planted on wooden skewers. This is easy to do, since nature itself provides a small opening in the walnut shell - once there was an attachment to a tree branch there. It is into it that the skewer is stuck, for greater reliability, they fix it with glue. These manipulations are repeated with each nut.
- If you cannot pierce the nut, then secure the skewer on top of the shell. To make the bouquet look more picturesque, cover this area with a piece of decorative paper or floral mesh.
- Gather the resulting blanks together so that the nuts are facing down and the skewers are pointing up. Secure with tape.
- Trim all protruding skewers with a garden pruner. Insert dried flowers for decoration between the nuts and secure them with tape.
- Now you can move on to packaging. First, hide the leg of your bouquet - for this you need to rewind it with colored paper, select its shade and texture at your discretion.
- Secure with packing tape. For greater splendor, it is better to wrap the composition several times. Finally, tie the nut bouquet with a ribbon and decorate the nuts with rhinestones, stones or sparkles to match the packaging.
The composition of nuts with the addition of dried fruits looks very original. The branches of a laurel tree are used as decoration.
From stationery
Any teacher needs pens, pencils, notepads, as well as washing erasers, markers and other stationery. If you wish, you can make a creative bouquet out of them. Of course, in this case, you must definitely dilute them with a candy or floral addition. For example, you can prepare a stylish bouquet framed with colored pencils. You will need:
- set of pencils;
- compact flower pot or plastic container;
- floristic sponge;
- polyethylene film;
- hot melt glue.
And of course, prepare any themed decor. It is best to take berries and flowers as the basis for an unusual composition. Orange chrysanthemums, dahlias and spray roses, complemented by rose hips and viburnum, look especially good.
- First, cut the floristic sponge to fit the size and leave it in the water. While it is saturated with moisture, use a heat gun to glue the pencils to the base. They must be connected as tightly as possible to each other. Place a transparent plastic wrap and a wet sponge in the finished vase.
- After that, you can proceed to the design with flowers. To do this, stick flowers into the sponge - first large, then slightly smaller in size.
- At the last stage, the smallest flowers, branches, berries and leaves are inserted. The decoration is completed with decorative elements.
