How to make a bouquet of diapers for newborns?

A bouquet of diapers will become not only a pleasant, but also a useful gift for the parents of a newborn. Such a product can be purchased to order, or you can try to make it yourself. Making crafts will not take much time.

Before proceeding directly to the process of making a gift, it is recommended to prepare everything you need. The main thing is to choose the right diapers. For newborns, in most cases, choose the smallest size. And also do not forget about the differences between diapers for boys and girls. In terms of quantity, one medium package is enough for a good bouquet. In addition, to make a gift you will need:

• wooden skewers, which are usually used to make kebabs;
• beautiful vase;
• decorative paper;
• thin elastic bands;
• tulle or organza to choose from;
• ribbons or lace;
• floristic foam (optional).

You can make a bouquet of diapers in different ways. Based on the prepared materials, it is recommended to choose one of the proposed options. The first and the simplest version of the craft is without the use of floristic foam.

First you have to work with a prepared vase. It can be glass or plastic. If the container is transparent, it is initially recommended to decorate it from the inside with beautiful wrapping paper. When the processing of the vase is completed, you can safely proceed to the next steps.

1. Of all the available diapers, in order of priority, it is necessary to twist tight rolls. Each of them will need to be fixed with rubber bands.
2. Next, each roll must be put on a wooden skewer. It is important to do this as carefully as possible so as not to damage the diapers. Otherwise, the gift will lose its usefulness.
3. Each of the "buds" must be wrapped in tulle or organza (depending on the chosen material).

There is another, more complex, option for making a bouquet of diapers with your own hands. In this case, you will need to work with floristic foam.

The process of creating a bouquet consists of several stages.

1. First you need to take floristic foam, insert it into the prepared vase and decorate with wrapping paper. Ideally, at this stage, the workpiece should look like the one shown in the figure.
2. Next, you need to create the same buds from diapers as in the first version. Each diaper is rolled up, fixed with an elastic band and put on wooden skewers. Additionally, each flower is wrapped in organza or other identical material.
3. Now skewers with buds need to be stuck into the floral foam so that a beautiful and lush bouquet is obtained.
4. Additionally, you can make decorations from lace ribbons. This is what the final version of the craft looks like.

When making bouquets of diapers according to one of the presented schemes, it is imperative to take into account important nuances.

1. For the safety of diapers, it is recommended to pre-wrap each skewer on one side with tape or white tape. This way the skewers are less sharp and the risk of damaging the diapers is minimized.
2. For a boy, it is better to choose blue diapers and decorative materials, and pink for girls. But it is not forbidden to use neutral shades.
3. It is important to try to fix all the details of the structure so that it does not fall apart in the first minutes.
4. You cannot use glue to fix the diapers on the skewers, as this will ruin the gift.
5. It is forbidden to use any paints, glitters, varnishes and other similar materials. They can not only ruin diapers, but also harm the baby, causing an allergic reaction.
