An intimate wardrobe sometimes requires no less attention than clothes. Indeed, both the beauty of the product and its quality and practicality are of great importance here. Let's take a closer look at the advantages and disadvantages of a lace bra.

Types and models

First, let's define the circle of our interest. There are several types of lace bras:

Sconce:

The bra is the most common underwire bra. It has triangular cups that cover the breasts almost completely, and has the effect of light correction, slightly lifting and fixing the shape.

Balconette:

The balconette features wide-set detachable straps and low-cut underwire cups. Thus, the chest is sufficiently exposed. This option is well suited for low round or square necklines.

Corbeil:

The cups of the Korbei bra are cut out at an angle and have the effect of "gathering" the breast towards the center, which creates an appetizing hollow. This option holds its shape well and is perfect for V-necklines.

Seedless:

Lace bras without underwire come in a variety of shapes. They hold the chest well, but do not lift it. The same goes for the triangle bra model without foam and filling. It looks good on a small size, while maintaining a natural shape.

Top bra:

A top bra is similar to a short T-shirt. A very feminine and romantic model. However, as well as the option with wide lace, sewn on the bottom of the bodice. Both styles accentuate the slim waist.

With openwork on the back and with modifiable shoulder straps:

Variations on the detachable shoulder straps, which can be worn in different ways, crosswise or over the neck with a tie, makes the lace bra multi-functional. It happens that the straps are connected at the back, like on sports models, and are decorated with a wide openwork insert.

Push up:

And the last one on our list is the famous push-up style with special fillers that can be removed if necessary or can be sewn in as a non-removable option. Such a model not only fixes the shape of the breast, but also adds at least one size to it.

Colour

The color variety of lace bra models is very wide. Any shade looks luxurious on this material: extravagant black, elegant and festive white, sexy red, delicate pink, romantic pastel shades.

Beige models, merging with skin tone, look extraordinarily sensual, thanks to the texture of the material, as if covering the body with ornaments.

Non-standard colors, for example, a blue lace bra, emerald, gray, olive, yellow, look good only if they favorably set off the skin color. You can try wearing them if you get tanned while on vacation to make your tan look even more impressive.

The options for underwear are very interesting, when the color of the bottom fabric and the color of the lace that is sewn on top does not match. For example, black lace on a red base, pale green on a blue one. These bras are really spectacular and very beautiful. Combined with satin and silk options, they can be suitable for the most special occasions.

Who is it suitable for?

In fact, the lace fabric of bras looks great on everyone. In absolutely all cases, she emphasizes the femininity of her owner. When choosing, you should rather be guided by the style of the bra, the shape of the cup and your natural size.

If you have large breasts, then choose fairly closed models with wide straps that keep their shape well. Strapless bras, balconette and triangle bras will not work for you. Rich colors of lace fabric will look more subtle on you. Note that lighter beige shades to match the skin will add even more volume.

If you are the owner of a medium size, then you can afford to wear literally all styles. Be guided only by the shape of the neckline, your taste, appropriateness and degree of comfort.

When choosing a bra for small breasts, it is worth remembering the models with foam rubber, fillers and push-up effect. And if the choice fell on a soft cup, then here you can give preference to a very light or bright color of linen. He will visually add volume.

How to choose?

First of all, pay attention to the quality of the lace material. If a poor quality fabric is used, there is a high likelihood that puffs will appear soon. After a couple of washes, such a bra will look worn and may lose its shape. It is beneficial if the lace fabric contains a synthetic thread. This increases the wear resistance of the material.

Also pay attention to possible irritation due to the characteristic texture if you are the owner of sensitive skin. Nevertheless, do not deprive yourself of a luxurious bra - give preference to openwork weaves from a very thin, smooth thread.

For a more accurate determination of a good size, which can be marked in different ways depending on the brand and country of origin, do not forget to contact the consultants. Make sure that the closure at the back does not rise up, but remains flush with the bottom line of the bodice in front. And also so that the straps and the seam of the base under the chest do not cut into the body.

Lace bras are the best option for a special occasion.

Most wedding lingerie is created using this material.Romantic meetings are also a reason to pay close attention to openwork models. Especially on those in which translucent patterned weaves are used without the use of a denser fabric. In this case, the body shines through the lace, which looks very seductive.

What to wear with?

Good taste means that the texture of the underwear should not show through under the garment. Permissible in a certain context only if lace straps are visible, matching in color with the top. It can even further embellish the look, adding a touch of romance.

The main rule in clothes is not to wear a lace bra with a tight top or an overly transparent blouse.

The color of the bra should always match the color of the clothing, especially if it is at least a little transparent. The contrast option is a sign of bad taste, as it looks too defiant in everyday life.

Lace fabric is well suited for cotton clothing, especially in the summer. The breathable material of these shirts, dresses and tops, in combination with the "ventilated" openwork texture of the underwear, will make you feel comfortable even on the warmest days.

Care

Lace is a capricious fabric, therefore it requires special handling. With improper care, the deplorable appearance of the product is ensured after a couple of washings. Therefore, the following precautions are preferred for bras made from this material:

  • using a special mesh bag for machine washing or the latest development - a plastic bra-saver;
  • delicate regimes with a water temperature of no more than 30 degrees;
  • detergents recommended for gentle care, for example, liquid detergent for baby clothes;
  • washing separately from clothes made of thick materials;
  • air drying, without spinning in the machine.

When washing lace, the use of bleaches is contraindicated.

The optimal number of bras in a wardrobe is seven for each day of the week, plus sets for a special occasion. This amount allows the underwear to be used as efficiently as possible, increasing its lifespan. Note also that the coarse fabrics of clothing worn on top will accelerate the wear on the delicate openwork material.

A lace bra is, first of all, tenderness, beauty, femininity and sensuality. He remains out of fashion and timeless. Undoubtedly, these are underwear for a real woman!
