Compared to other cultural centers of Montenegro, Dobra Voda is a small village where you can relax in silence, away from the noisy nightlife. The settlement is located in the southern part of the country, it can be crossed if you go to Ulcinj - another resort in Montenegro.

The main means of transportation here is considered to be public transport, which makes regular routes to the nearest cities. It takes only ten minutes from any point in a small village to the beach. It should be said that this place is not one of the most visited, so the water and the beach are cleaner here.

Despite the numerous advantages of the resort, one part of it stands above the highway, which is not to everyone's liking, especially couples with children.

The beach in the village is mostly pebbly, but sandy areas can also be found. There is an opportunity to use a sun lounger and an umbrella. Showers and toilets are installed along the entire length to make the guests comfortable.

Yachts are often moored near the coast, they offer to go on a boat trip or fishing. With the onset of the evening, bars open their entertainment programs, live music plays.

If you walk north along the beach area, you can walk to a wild beach. This protected area is covered with pebbles and large boulders, the descent to the water is convenient, the water is very clean.

Nearby there is an olive grove, which attracts with an amazing aroma of fragrant trees, as well as the Utjeha beach, a distinctive feature of which is considered to be a large number of springs flowing into the sea.

What is remarkable about Dobra Voda: there is a lot of vegetation around it and this is not only an olive grove, but also century-old oaks, exotic flowers... The air here is very healthy, as it is saturated with essential oils. This is the main reason why tourists from all over the world come here with lung problems. Indeed, the resort is ideal for those wishing to improve their own health.

The best month to visit the resort is September, when the heat subsides a little, the nights become cool, but the water remains warm.

sights

It should be noted that it is difficult to find sights in the village itself, and if they are, they do not attract much attention from tourists. The most valuable here are air and water, which has a rich turquoise color due to its purity.

When Yugoslavia still existed, a recreation center for asthma patients began to be built nearby, but the construction was never completed. Today it is an excellent place for a beach holiday; the most popular beaches are Velikiy and Maly Piesak, which are actually not sandy at all, but pebbled ones. Both of these places are considered a protected area, therefore, the cleanliness of their territory is strictly monitored.

It is difficult to say whether Abramovich's villa is considered a tourist attraction, but tourists come to see it too, although you cannot get too close to the building.

Fishing is considered one of the most popular entertainment in Dobra Voda.

Not so long ago, the ruins of an old church were found, which are located near the Veliki Pjesak beach in the bay. Coins were also found there, according to which it was possible to establish that the structure was erected in the distant IV century. Until the place was ennobled, so the find is not included in the list of modern attractions.

To the north of the village, you should definitely visit the observation deck, which was opened in 2016, and its area is 200 square meters. m.

How to spend your leisure time?

For numerous tourists, they tried to equip the beaches with the highest quality. They are distinguished not only by their cleanliness, but also by a convenient descent to the sea, the presence of umbrellas and sun loungers. The coastal area is wide enough to accommodate everyone, there is a wild beach a little north of the village.

If exploring local attractions takes place by car, then you should definitely go up to the observation deck located between the two tunnels. For convenience, the organizers have made a large parking lot nearby. From here, an amazing view of the coastal area and the village as a whole opens up.

During the day, when it is too hot on the beach, you can stroll through the market or shops, where there is something to choose from not only from souvenirs. Inexpensive clothes are brought here from Italy, but they are famous for their high quality.

In the evening there is an opportunity to stroll along the embankment, enjoy the view and coolness, buy a souvenir in one of the shops or just drink coffee. Small nightclubs open up for young people at nightfall, but they do not spoil the atmosphere of peace for those who come here to relax with children.

You should definitely try the local wines, as they have a rich bouquet.... In the fall, ripe fruits begin to appear on the markets. Fish is cooked very tasty here, it is always fresh and is sold right along the coast. If you wish, you can also engage yourself in fishing on your own.

How to get there?

After arriving at the airport, you will have to get to the village. The one that is located in Podgorica is located 60 kilometers from Dobra Voda. Most often charter flights arrive here, which depart from Moscow, Ufa, Tyumen and some other large cities of the country. A little further, at a distance of 71 kilometers, is the Tivat airport - planes of the same airlines arrive here.

Directly from the airport itself, you can take a taxi or take public transport, but you have to get to the bus station, so taxi drivers are very persistent. Once at the bus station, you always need to check the relevance of the schedule of these flights, since changes are made every season.

From Podgorica to Dobra Voda the road takes more than an hour, longer from Tivat - almost two hours without twenty minutes. You can take a bus to Ulcinj, as they are passing.

There is no railway branch here, only a high-speed train from Bar to Podgorica. From Bar you can get to the village by minibus.

If you decide to take a taxi, then it is better to make an order in advance, since taxi drivers at the airport are expensive.

Reviews

It should be understood that the resort in summer and the rest of the year are two completely different places. At the peak of the beach, there is no place to find it, it becomes very dirty, although the locals try to clean it often. Dobra-Voda is a good option for early spring or even autumn, when the flow of tourists decreases, but the temperature still allows you to relax for your own benefit.

In winter, everything here dies out, almost all excursion programs are closed, as are numerous hotels. This is exactly the time when the active construction of new residential complexes begins, so it will not work to be completely in silence.
