To fully enjoy the July sun, clear sea, warm sand or the protected nature of the mountains, you need to spend the peak of summer in a country that is simply created for a beach holiday and is suitable for mountain tourism lovers. This country is Montenegro. It is in July that the most favorable weather is here, conducive to spending a family vacation on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.

Climate

Despite the fact that Montenegro occupies a relatively small area, its territory is located in three climatic zones.

  • Mountain. The weather here is similar to the subalpine type of climate. Even in the middle of summer it is not very hot here, and even cooler at night. In winter, the weather is quite warm and almost calm. In this region are the national parks Durmitor and Biogradska Gora.
  • Continental. Mountain ranges protect the central part of the country from cold winds, therefore, the highest temperature indicators are recorded here. The increased humidity slightly smoothes out the hot summer weather.
  • Coastal. A pronounced Mediterranean climate is observed along the entire Adriatic coast. Summers are not very hot here, but dry, with minimal rainfall. Refreshing sea breezes ease the heat. The difference between day and night temperatures is about 10 ° C.

Weather conditions in the middle of summer

The total majority of tourists coming to Montenegro choose the coast of the country for living and recreation. In July, it seems that the sun shines here constantly, up to 15 hours a day. It can be rainy or cloudy only for a couple of days. There is also almost no wind at this time of the year, and the sea is calm, warm and clean.

The average temperature of the second summer month hovers around + 29 ° C during the day and about + 20 ° C at night. At the same time, the water warms up to + 24 ° C and above. At such temperatures, the bathing process cannot cause discomfort. You can spend the whole day near the water, enjoying the gorgeous views of the coastal zone.

In addition to the beaches, the mountains of Montenegro also attract travelers. The weather here, unlike the coast, is noticeably cooler, but this is not a problem for fans of extreme recreation.

    Beaches

A July vacation in Montenegro is always associated with luxurious beaches, clear sea water and gentle sun. The beaches have a well-developed infrastructure for tourists. Various types of entertainment are available, such as water parks, zoos, attractions, dolphinarium.

The climate of this country is ideal for the treatment, recuperation and recreation of children. For this purpose, resorts and sanatoriums of a specific health-improving orientation have been built here. In the summer, there are many children's camps in the country. In addition to fun games on the beach and splashing in the water, children learn a lot about the host country, its history and traditions. Carefully selected staff take care of the kids around the clock.

You need to be prepared that July is the peak of the beach season. Popular urban coastal areas such as Budva or Becici are very crowded. At the same time, there are wild beaches or lesser known ones where you can spend time in seclusion while enjoying nature.
