Multicolored eggs are considered the main symbol of the Easter table. And rainbow dyes, which are rightfully considered a real work of art, can become its main decoration. Preparing them at home is not difficult at all. To do this, it is enough to use at least one of the following master classes.

Staining with vinegar

This option for creating multi-colored eggs for Easter is one of the simplest and at the same time the most popular.

It is important to understand two main nuances here - the most beautiful will be dyes with white shells, the patterns on them will be bright. And the second point - to create two identical patterns will never work - each egg will be unique.

For decoration you will need:

  • boiled product:
  • gloves;
  • white paper towels or napkins;
  • pipette;
  • food dyes;
  • 9% table vinegar;
  • spray bottle with warm water.

Paints can be used as liquid, those that require preliminary dilution with water. In order to decorate eggs at home, you must first mix the vinegar with the selected tones. The classic version involves adding five drops of a 9% essence solution to 2 tablespoons of the selected shade. The painting itself consists of several stages.

  • The egg must be wrapped with the selected paper option. It is best to leave small folds on the surface.
  • Next, a dye of different shades diluted with vinegar is applied with a pipette in a chaotic manner. It is very important that there are no unpainted spots.
  • From a spray bottle it is necessary to spray the paints with warm water.This is necessary for better mixing of paints with each other.

In this form, the products are left on a plate until completely dry. It is necessary to lay them out in such a way that they do not come into contact with each other. After the moisture has completely evaporated, the napkin is removed, and the shell is smeared with a thin layer of any vegetable oil. The result is beautiful iridescent dyes of bright colors that differ from each other.

How to paint without vinegar?

Among some housewives, there is an opinion that the use of vinegar when decorating eggs with their own hands leads to the fragility of their shells. And therefore, the product may be unsuitable for transportation in the future.

That is why some people are looking for a step-by-step staining recipe that does not use this component.

In order to create iridescent dyes with your own hands without using vinegar, you will need:

  • gloves;
  • boiled eggs;
  • dyes;
  • cotton buds;
  • white paper napkins.

The decorating process itself is very similar to the previous one. Only in this case, small pieces of cotton wool are dipped in paint, and then pressed tightly against the paper, which is wrapped around the shell. Each new print is placed in such a way that it slightly overlaps the previous tone.

After the products are completely dry, the napkin is removed, and the egg is also covered with a thin layer of oil. If desired, you can additionally decorate the product with flowers or patterns cut from tissue paper (napkins). In this case, they are glued to the whipped raw protein, with which the surface of the shell is lightly greased.

Useful Tips

Many housewives are often faced with the fact that when preparing eggs for further decoration, they simply become unusable. The reason is simple - during cooking, future dyes burst. To avoid this, add 2 tablespoons of salt and a teaspoon of baking soda to the water. This will not only prevent the shells from cracking during cooking, but will also allow you to quickly and easily remove the shells before eating.

Lubrication of finished dyes with vegetable oil allows you to give them a special shine. Although this operation is not considered mandatory, experienced housewives still do not recommend skipping it.

It is very important to let the wipes dry completely. Otherwise, the final decoration result can be very frustrating. Having decided to paint the eggs in rainbow tones with your own hands, it is worth remembering that on products with a brown shell, the pattern will never turn out bright. The maximum that can be achieved is incomprehensible divorces.

It is quite easy to make unique rainbow colors for the Easter table. All the necessary components are always in stores, and the creative process itself will make it possible to prepare an edible decoration with pleasure.
