• tango - a prototype of the "click-clack" mechanism, but additionally equipped with a niche for storing bed linen.

The frame must be strong; for this, an array of beech, ash, oak or pine is used. The bed is most often based on chipboard. The sleeping place should be elastic, comfortable, of medium hardness. It is recommended to choose a reliable spring block with springs isolated from each other or a sofa with latex filling.

Reliable fittings are made of stainless steel and galvanized steel. The upholstery material is striking in its variety. Modern sofas are covered with leather, eco-leather, velvet, velor, matting, flock, jacquard, microfiber, artificial suede, etc. Textured sofas, despite their high cost, are gaining more and more popularity among buyers: the upholstery can even be made of silk.

The sofa should harmoniously fit into the style of the room. It is most practical to select this piece of furniture for the existing interior, however, in some cases, the sofa can be the central figure of the living room, so everything around is selected in addition to it. Recently, it has become fashionable to buy accent sofas in a rich berry color, they attract all the attention to themselves (provided the interior is in soothing colors without a pattern). Modern fashion styles:

• minimalism - simple geometric shapes without unnecessary details;

• eclecticism - a combination of different styles in one item, most often made to order (the services of an experienced designer are needed to get a stylish sofa, and not a jumble of disparate elements);

• loft - multifunctional interior items in an urban style with artificially aged armrests;

• art deco (neoclassical) - looks very elegant: thin trapezoidal legs, curved backs and decorative buttons;

• modern - modern roomy upholstered furniture in muted shades with sophisticated fittings;

• high tech - strict rectangular shapes with chrome elements, such furniture is produced with almost complete lack of decor.

Choosing upholstered furniture, it is imperative to take into account the size of the berth when unfolded. Should stay around at least 50 cm so that you can walk up to the sofa. For a small room, it is recommended to choose straight sofa models, since they take up less space (in a spacious room, a semicircular one with curvaceous shapes will look most beautiful).

Before buying a trendy novelty, keep in mind that fashion is fleeting, and in a year such a sofa will become outdated, because usually designer interior items are produced in a limited series, and outdated furniture is very striking... Light and thin upholstery is extremely impractical and is only suitable for furnishing a summer guest house, subject to infrequent visits by adults.
