In the latter case, the "floating" bed will have to be supplied with a sufficiently thick and massive headboard, as well as an additional L-shaped profile, one part of which is fixed on the wall covering. At the same time, the frame itself must be as strong and strong as possible so that the product does not sway and loosen during operation. Also, berths of this type can be made with a slightly shortened support from a special durable and transparent material.

Such levitating furniture can perfectly fit into interiors decorated in modern styles. This type of product is most often produced with a wooden worktop and strong metal supports. They also have special stretched cables, due to which not a single rod bends, and the structure remains in a fixed position. This furniture can be easily made with your own hands from improvised means. Such tables, as a rule, have a non-standard and interesting shape.

These structures can be produced using a wide variety of materials (different types of wood, metals, textile bases, high quality plastics). They are also equipped with support elements in the form of cables and strong rods.

Now we will analyze how you can make a levitating chair with your own hands. First, you should prepare a drawing of the future furniture structure. On the diagram, a sketch is necessarily made, all the exact dimensions of individual parts and the entire chair in finished form are prescribed there.

In addition, when drawing up a drawing, you should carefully consider how exactly the supporting parts should be located so that the chair is as strong and reliable as possible, can withstand significant loads. The product can have various shapes. We will consider an option with half-ring supports.

After that, all the necessary materials are prepared to create the structure:

• sheet plywood;
• rope;
• self-tapping screws for wood;
• clamps;
• screwdriver;
• milling cutter;
• cutters for woodwork;
• drilling machine;
• ruler, square;
• scissors;
• pencil;
• knife.

It is best to take birch plywood as a basis. This material is distinguished by a special level of quality. Products made from it can serve for quite a long time. When all the materials and accessories are in the workplace, you can start creating a "floating" chair. All elements of the future chair are best made using a CNC milling machine.

When cutting out parts on the machine, jumpers should be installed on the lower parts of the slots: this is done so that the blanks do not jump out during processing. After that, all the parts are turned over, and the remaining jumpers are simply removed. Further, on the milling equipment, the edges of the workpieces are processed. It is recommended to do this using a special radius cutter equipped with a thrust bearing. The result should be arched details. Six of these items will be sufficient to provide reliable support.

Then a nylon rope is selected. It should be as strong as possible. Its diameter is measured in advance in order to know exactly what diameter should be at the holes for it. Later, one through hole of the corresponding diameter is drilled at both ends of each workpiece made of wood. Better to make preliminary markings with a simple pencil.

At the same time, two more holes of the transverse type are made: they will become seats for fixing screws, which are intended to clamp the rope inside the holes. Further, all the workpieces are carefully processed using a drilling machine, on which the grinding drum attachment is fixed. All surfaces should be treated.

At the final stage, the seat is attached to the finished support. It can be made separately from a glued wood surface. When cutting it out, a small hole must be made in the central part, designed to fix the support. The countertops can be made in the same way, resulting in a small table. If desired, the finished stool can be upholstered in a soft woven fabric.

These chairs can be made with magnets. In this case, the chair will be fixed in one position due to only the magnetic field. When manufacturing a chair, you will have to fix several magnets in it, and several more of these elements are fixed on the floor or on another support that will be placed below.
