There are many different types of glitter.

• Small ones. Their second name is "give". They are usually used in fairly large quantities to give the pedicure brightness and beautiful play of color.

• Dry. They can be of all colors, shapes and sizes. Sometimes there are glitters with a reflective effect.

• Liquid. They are already included in the varnish. But these will definitely be small sparkles - you will not find large ones. Liquid glitter includes all glitter varnishes (gel polish, shea polish, and the like).

• Holographic. They are used most often against a dark background, since they contain a lot of light-refracting particles. This creates a holographic effect.

• Colored. They, in contrast to the above, are most often used on a white background. This option allows you to make your nails quite bright and add festivity to your look. A large number of options and shades contributes to the choice of varnish to suit your taste.

• Foiled. You can also make this option yourself at home. To do this, you only need two things - foil and scissors. And the result will look simply irresistible.

• Glitter powder. This is a type of dry glitter: it should be applied on a liquid base, and then rubbed in with a cosmetic applicator. The result is a smooth mirror finish.

• Glitter sand. This option is the finest glitter. The composition is very thick, it should be applied to the nails with a special spatula. Dispersed particles fit perfectly on the nail and add shine to it.

First, decide what color you want to cover your nail plate. Be careful with this, because different colors can have different meanings and evoke different associations.

• Lunar. This option assumes the presence of a small notch at the edge of the nail, which is painted with transparent varnish and decorated with sparkles. The view turns out to be rather unusual. But this strangeness only adds to the attractiveness of the image.

If you paint your nails in unusual colors, put a few rhinestones on top, this will add spark and energy to your image, ideally complementing your evening or holiday dress.

In order to convey the atmosphere of light warm summer days, you can paint a bright pattern of tropical fruits or seascapes on your nails. A combination of several bright colors will perfectly convey the summer mood - each nail can be painted with your own color. But be careful with this - the main thing is that the colors match each other.

Pay a lot of attention to your nails and try not to run them, namely: cut short enough. It makes you look more well-groomed and tidy. And do not neglect a pedicure for short nails. Paint them bright colors or make an unusual ornament or pattern. All this will make you simply irresistible.

In order to avoid excessive variegation and not overdo it with sparkles, you can only decorate your big toe with them. This will help make your legs look even more beautiful and prevent you from looking vulgar or provocative. Apply glitter thickly to the big toes of both toes, and paint the rest of the toes in matte dark colors (preferably in contrast to the thumb).

This type of polish will help you enjoy a more long-lasting manicure. Otherwise, everything is the same as with a regular varnish. However, be careful when applying gel polish as it has a thinner texture. Use a special brush.

Before you start applying glitter to your nails, you should do several operations, since there is a special application technique.

1. Do not neglect hygiene procedures. Treat the nails and skin of the feet. This will help get rid of cracked heels, calluses and generally make the skin more tender.
2. Shape the nail plate as desired. To reduce the risk of injury to the nail or the skin around it, use a file that is less abrasive.
3. Polish your nails thoroughly and try to make the surface as flat as possible. Otherwise, the glitter will not lie in an even layer and will only draw attention to all the irregularities and roughness.
4. Degrease your nail with a primer. You can use both acidic and acid-free products.
5. After all the primer has been absorbed, apply a coat of base. This will help smooth out irregularities and align the nail plate.
6. After the base coat has dried, start polishing your nails. To enhance the intensity of the color, cover the nail with a double coat of nail polish. Be sure to dry each coat thoroughly and wait patiently for the varnish to cure. This is very important for a neat manicure.
7. Once you've covered your nails with a regular color, you can start applying the main glitter and design.
