No matter how great the desire for original options for decorating the house outside, homemade garlands cannot be used. Even the best of them cannot guarantee complete protection and sufficient reliability.

For the same reason, it is highly undesirable to use remanufactured, repaired or hand-bought samples. Whenever possible, you should buy lighting decorations from one reputable supplier. It is advisable to immediately take a whole set in order to achieve uniformity of design, connection methods. Experts advise to carefully consider the insulation of wires, and even check it with testers selectively. It is imperative to ask for quality certificates issued for ready-made kits and individual samples.

Avoiding mistakes will allow design project. And also it is worth paying attention to the types of lighting fixtures. A true classic is the thread-like garland - but modern versions of it are distinguished by the use of LEDs rather than incandescent lamps, which is both cheaper and safer many times over.

Such products are hung on any surface, wound on any object. Even "thread curtains" are created without much difficulty. The so-called fringe is also often used. The chain of lights is complemented by vertically attached threads of various lengths. The light fringe is usually attached to the perimeter of the roof.

Still popular are:

• curtains from garlands-threads (complex, but beautiful solution);

• molded cords based on PVC;

• luminous figures with a particular plot.

Before you decorate the facade or other part of the building with garlands, you need to check again if they are in good working order. It is strongly undesirable to hang them at temperatures less than -10 degrees... Better yet, do this in advance, before the onset of freezing temperatures.

It is useful to have a snapshot of the desired walls and roofs ready when drawing up a diagram. It is imperative when thinking through it:

• take into account electrical regulations;

• pay attention to the best ways and points of anchoring;

• take into account external light sources, how it will affect perception.

Correctly decorating a house outside with garlands with your own hands implies strict adherence to equal intervals... Only then will the composition look harmonious and laconic. All auxiliary decor and wires, of course, are also taken only for outdoor use.

The fastening at all points must be very secure. Only this makes it possible to exclude separation in strong winds and damage during snowfall. Even small sparks and leakage currents are unacceptable. Low-voltage products are connected to each other using connectors. The start command is given using a special (not room!) Two-phase circuit breaker.

When connecting to a household power supply, a step-down transformer must be used. This transformer must have a power reserve. The number of sections connected in series is determined by the instruction. Each section is connected with a separate wire. It is advisable to mount the box in a special place in the room.

It is quite possible to decorate the house outside with colored lights along the contour. The red and green lights look very good. The effect will be even better if they begin to flicker in a thoughtful way.

Street fringe often turns out to be no worse. The photo shows just a fringe with different lengths of threads.

But this option may look a little different. It is quite correct to concentrate it at the level of the attic and the roof. Then a wide yellow ribbon will look attractive.

Sometimes garlands of several different types are taken at all. In the theme of New Year and Christmas holidays, it turns out green circles.
