There is beach tourism, when there are golden sand and gentle sea, bright sun loungers and chilling cocktails. There is event tourism, when a traveler goes to some significant place where a holiday will take place (a festival, a theatrical performance, an exhibition, a meeting). There is historical and cultural tourism, when they "hunt" for monuments of architecture and art, visit house-museums, historical buildings, etc.

But there is also a special tourism, in which the traveler manages to make the most unusual way - inside himself. And the sacred places of our planet help in this. There are many places of power and energy in Crimea, an unusual peninsula from the point of view of history and research.

What it is?

The very meaning of the word "sacred" indicates the divine, mystical, inexplicable, irrational. These things are different from the ordinary, cannot be logically comprehended. It is believed that strong sacred places are needed for communication with higher matters, with supernatural and otherworldly forces. A sacred place can be buildings, natural objects (most often), structures, which are inexplicable either by their origin or by energy. More often it is a geographic local feature, one or more, to which the word sacred can be applied.

Today, the term is used more broadly and is so often called unusual places, when visiting which a person receives a strong emotional boost.

Places of power

Crimea is a huge territory full of silent witnesses of time, eras, climatic changes and social revolutions. The very description of Crimea, its complex history, suggests that there are definitely energetic places here. Therefore, esotericists, religious people come here, as well as those who know how to enrich themselves with the immaterial. And there are many such objects to visit!

Mount Ayu-Dag

It cannot be called a secret, rare place where tourists do not step so often. On the contrary, this is one of the visiting cards of Crimea, but with it "everything is far from clear." Therefore, the mountain today attracts the attention of archaeologists and esotericists. Until now, it has not been clarified exactly what the age of the mountain is: from 140 to 160 million years are given by modern scientists.

According to the analysis of the soil, it became clear that its bulk is volcanic rock with inclusions of rare minerals. Mountains of this type are called laccoliths. It is interesting that such a composition of the earth's crust is not inherent in the peninsula, which means that the mountain is not a mainland part. It was formed at the place where lava emerged from the ground at the time of the shift of tectonic layers in the process of a large-scale catastrophe of a very long time ago.

Ayu-Dag is unique in that it is an open-air natural mineralogical museum. Amethyst, pyrite, black tourmaline, vesuvian, lomontin are the stones that fill the bowels of Ayu-Dag.

In terms of their energetic value and aggregate, they are strong: it is believed that the energy transmitted by them to the outer space has a beneficial effect on a person - it calms, balances, sharpens intuition, fills with strength.

Grand canyon

The Grand Canyon of Crimea is another iconic place, a unique natural object located in the Crimean Mountains near the village of Sokolinoe. There is a well-known hiking trail, traditional for mass excursions, not very long. But there is another place in this territory - path to Mount Boyko, to the ruins of the Ancient Sanctuary (it can be called the Cathedral of Christ the Savior). Tourists do not come here, even stalkers do not take strangers in this place. It is also located here entrance to Shambhala, which, according to some information, was searched for by the NKVD and German special forces.

You can't come here without an invitation, but seminars are held here, the participants of which can see the unique place with their own eyes.

If you are not so radical, then the very traditional journey along the Grand Canyon can also become a place of power for you. These are incredibly beautiful landscapes that cannot leave you indifferent. At the end of the trip, you may feel tired, as if the nature of the Crimea took your strength, but in the morning you will see that she answered you a lot, you will be filled with new energy.

Mysterious places

There is in Crimea Gazebo of winds - this place is advertised, an attentive tourist who has visited the peninsula could visit it more than once, but if this is not a mystery of the peninsula, then definitely a place with his own questions. This is a snow-white small building, decorating the Shagan-Kaya rock above Gurzuf... Its name is possibly associated with the floor mosaic ornament, which resembles a wind rose. And the very location of the gazebo is consonant with the name: here at the top it is always cool and windy.

Tourists who are not looking for easy ways love to visit this place. To climb here, you need to go through a not very easy route, but the view from the cliff will pay off in full. Many iconic places can be seen from here - the jagged line of the Ayu-Dag peaks, the famous "Artek", the handsome Gurzuf, Adalary. Climbing here, you make a mini-climb, therefore you have every right to make a wish. This is mysticism or something else, but, they say, desires tend to come true very quickly. Just formulate them as accurately as possible, streamlined forms of the desired turn into strange forms of implementation.

Karaite burials

Cemetery, churchyard - non-tourist routes or, one might say, not the most popular of them. Mystical experiences and negative associations are far from all that can be associated with burial sites. If they are old, then this is already a historical object, informative, meaningful and special in terms of energy.

Therefore, people are interested in ancient cemeteries, for example, such as the large Karaite cemetery Balta Tiimeiz in the Josaphat valley.

This resting place is not just hundreds of years old - it is more than a thousand years old. The number of gravestones studied by the researchers is about 10,000. Of course, such a place has a completely unusual, special atmosphere. It is not scary here, here the sensors become sharper, time slows down, the internal dialogue with oneself intensifies. I would like to find answers to long-standing tormenting questions, I would like to somehow talk with eternity.

The cemetery in Bakhchisarai is abandoned, overgrown, but has not lost its power to make an impression. It is not for nothing that writers and artists, philosophers visit it. If you are afraid of independent walks, guides will help you; you can arrange an excursion to the ancient cemetery in advance.

Gravitational anomaly

Relatively recently, the Internet literally blew up a video called "A gravitational anomaly in the Crimea." Events unfold there at the twentieth kilometer of the Alushta-Feodosia highway. However, if you watch the video with the cyclist several times, the disclosure of his riddle becomes closer and closer. The cyclist is trying to roll down, and the visible road display suggests that he will indeed do so. But the transport seems to be slowing down and not moving. But when he starts to ride uphill, the bike rides perfectly on its own. The hero of the video throws up his hands in surprise.

Take a look at this further.

Experts who have more than once undertaken to decipher what is happening in the video are inclined to see here not unusual gravity, but simply an optical illusion. The human visual analyzer, with all its interesting and complex structure, is imperfect. He clings to one thing, overlooking the other, roughly speaking, we see schemes, patterns. Therefore, due to the objects surrounding the track, we see a person rolling downhill, although in fact there is a descent in this place.

It turns out that the illusion of a gravitational anomaly is created by landscape objects. A similar phenomenon is observed in Lake Wells, Florida. There is a highway along the mountain, the inclines and inclines of which also confuse people who think that cars are moving up after the brakes are released. But you can challenge this boring version and see what actually happens in this place.

Little known areas

Even if they are on the map, many tourists are in no hurry to visit these places. Someone is not very sure what is really interesting there, someone else thinks that once again it is not worth disturbing the mysterious corners of Crimea.

Valley of Ghosts

It is difficult to imagine a list of esoteric places without the Valley of the Ghosts of Mount Demerdzhi. Of course, those who love mountains and cannot imagine a vacation without trekking or mountaineering will say that each mountain is individual, unique, it is not worth comparing the highest points... But Demerdzhi is really unusual: she herself is like a ghost. If you stand with your back to the mountain and look at it in the mirror, it seems to be reincarnated.

The mountain slopes are covered with huge stone statues, which are involved in creating a mystical picture. The mountain, shrouded in fog, has one silhouette; on a sunny day, it looks completely different. The light of the sun is constantly creating a new color landscape. This is a chameleon mountain, on which idols appear, either approaching a tourist, or soaring to heaven.

The phenomena are not so abnormal as skillfully created by nature itself, which is itself a skillful illusionist.

Abandoned nuclear power plant

If the post-apocalypse theme is close to you, and you are interested in scary, dangerous places connected at least aesthetically with this topic, you should visit an abandoned nuclear power plant in Crimea. You can find it on the Kerch Peninsula. At one time, it became an urban planning object, for the sake of which Shchelkino was built. And when the station was 90% ready, they simply did not have time to launch it. This happened in connection with the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The vast territory and the associated efforts of a considerable number of specialists have remained a ghost - this is a forgotten page of Soviet history, of which there are many. Much, of course, has been stolen and taken out, but there are huge walls, frightening in their lack of demand, a skeletal skeleton among the scorched steppe. Once upon a time the "Kazantip Atomic Parties" were held here, the station was sold in parts, it was passed "from hand to hand." For more than 2 years, the idea of creating a new industrial park on this territory has been put forward.

By the way, some scenes of Fyodor Bondarchuk's film "Inhabited Island" were filmed here.

Submarine base

And such an object will certainly interest many lovers of secret and secret places. True, the base can no longer be called an unknown object - now it acts as a museum, open to the visitor. The base is located in Sevastopol. Abandoned military facility number 221 attracts diggers, tourists with wide interests and adventure seekers. There is something to see here: underground tunnels with depressing and frightening gloom, but as if luring further and further, secret structures and rooms that have been plundered clean.

Temple of the Sun

If the unexplored and sacred zones should be, in your opinion, associated with paganism, ancient rituals, not fully understood symbolism, you are unlikely to miss the opportunity to visit the Temple of the Sun on Mount Ilyas-Kaya, which is near Laspi. The temple resembles a flower, only its petals are stone. They are positioned so that the sun's rays fall on the central stone. By the way, in this place, for unknown reasons, equipment often fails.

There is a legend that during the Second World War the Nazis tried to solve the riddle of the place, so that its energy would help them establish world power. But the mountain did not allow people who came with bad thoughts to use its power to the detriment of humanity. The Nazis were missing. When you approach the Temple, you will see an altar in the middle of a stone flower, where offerings are regularly brought.

Here rituals are held, meditation sessions are arranged. They say that someone who wants to start life anew, to do a total reboot, must definitely come here.

It's hard to say if the placebo effect is working or if the energy of an ancient, unsolved place really can't be devalued. Until the path to it overgrows, one can judge that people find what they came for. And this is the best advertisement for Crimean riddles. Places of power, energetically powerful objects, territories and structures, the appearance of which makes not only consciousness, but also the subconscious work, will always find those who are interested in such non-material things. And Crimea is full of them! It is worth coming to one place, as you will immediately be told about another, no less interesting. Such trips are never forgotten.

You will learn more about where you can see sacred and unusual places in Crimea.
