Where do scuffs occur most often?
Scuffs appear most quickly in places with the greatest deformation of the material:
- Lap.
- Knee bends.
- Pockets. Most often, scuffs appear from phones, notebooks, keys and other little things that are in your pocket.
- The lower part of the legs. Appear if jeans are longer than necessary and periodically tuck.
Effective ways
There are several effective ways to improve the situation.
Painting
If the jeans have both scuffs and white stripes, then the simplest and most effective is full coloring.
This will require a special fabric dye. It is necessary to select a paint that is as close as possible in color to the material to be painted.
Operating procedure:
- dilute the paint in water according to the instructions, add a little salt to the solution;
- gently straighten the jeans. There should be no folds or creases on the materials, otherwise a white stripe may remain in this place;
- dip the jeans into the solution and leave on the fire for 30 - 60 minutes, stirring occasionally;
- take out jeans and rinse them thoroughly in cold water.
There are different types of dyes. Some of them can also be used for machine washing. True, such dyes refresh the color more than intensively paint over scuffs.
In addition to special dyes, you can use simpler methods, for example, blue solution.
Carbon paper painting
An original and simple way to quickly remove scuffs. To do this, carefully wipe the entire surface of the jeans with a sheet of blue carbon paper. Particular attention should be paid to areas with severe scuffs, pockets, knees, etc.
Painting with felt-tip pen
An ordinary blue or black felt-tip pen is also useful for quickly painting over scuffs. True, this method is suitable for jeans in dark blue, ink or black.
All the wiped areas are carefully painted over with a felt-tip pen, then the jeans are rinsed in cold water so that the felt-tip pen becomes more blurred and invisible to others.
