Vastu Shastra is an ancient Vedic science about the correct construction of living and working space in accordance with the laws of nature. For millennia, sages have used specific colors to create beautiful and harmonious homes that bring prosperity and abundance to their inhabitants.

Different color combinations or individual colors can make the necessary adjustments to the space.

• Blue. Synonymous with spring and renewal, it is auspicious in bedrooms and meditation rooms.

• Green. Symbolizes hope. It brings healing power, creates harmony and a positive atmosphere. Suitable for office and classrooms.

• Yellow. Conveys wisdom and patience. Great for rooms with a lack of daylight.

• Orange. A symbol of energy and the spiritual path. Promises a happy and optimistic life, healthy relationships, stimulates the acquisition of spiritual knowledge.

• Red. Symbolizes strength and courage. This energetic color is unsuitable for the home bedroom due to its strong aphrodisiac properties.

• Purple. The color is twofold in energy. Light colors can help create a soothing atmosphere.

• Pink. A symbol of joy, happiness, purity. Well suited for wall decoration in the bedroom in the southern sector or in the Southwest.

• White. Grace itself. Looks great with different companion colors. It is advisable to always paint the ceiling white. And also it should dominate in the northwest sector of the living space.

• Black. According to Vastu, it symbolizes need and sorrow. There should not be much of it in the interior. It must be generously diluted with white and other light options.

With the help of color in the interior, you can significantly harmonize the space from the front door to the farthest room. Each planet, which is responsible for a sector of the structure, symbolizes a certain color, which can be applied to different directions of the world to a certain extent to smooth out the negative aspects of space.

• North. The northern direction in the dwelling is ruled by Mercury. Its color is green, so pleasant green tones can be applied in this sector. And also let's say light yellow, since yellow is a component of green.

• Northeast. This sector is ruled by Jupiter. Therefore, design in blue, white, yellow or lemon shades is welcome here.

• East. The eastern direction is subject to the Sun. Indoors in the East, the use of white, yellow, orange, pink colors is successful. Red is also ruled by the Sun, so all colors that contain this fundamental color, with the exception of too saturated shades, can be used in the eastern sector.

• Southeast sector. Venus is responsible for it. The South-East is characterized by muted reds and blues. This sector is the best location for the kitchen, where it would be preferable to use shades of red that stimulate the appetite.

• South direction. The planet Mars is responsible for it, symbolizing the red color that can be used in this sector. It is worth noting that in the southern sector, red needs depth, closer to burgundy and even brown tones. Small amounts of black are also acceptable in the South.

• Southwest Sector. The shadow planet Rahu is in charge of it. Bright as well as light shades are not recommended in this sector. Gray or dark green is preferred.

• West. Ruled by Saturn, which is characterized by blue and purple hues. Therefore, these colors can be applied in this sector of the home. However, saturated or dark shades can only be used to emphasize the main light color.

• Northwest. Moon direction. In this sector, you can use white, silver, pearl, pale orange colors.

However, it should be understood that each color in the sector should be combined with the rest of the shades in the interior. The colors in the sectors must be applied carefully to avoid color imbalance.
