Sometimes it happens that a pen remains on the nails, which is absorbed into the gel coating and spoils the appearance of the manicure. For women and girls who have to write frequently, experts give some tips on how to erase the paste and keep their nails neat and beautiful.

What means to use?

There are several ways to remove unpleasant stains from the surface of the nail. They are classified according to the substances used.

Alcohol-containing formulations

The most popular way to remove paste from the nail is an alcohol-containing composition - the higher the alcohol content in the composition, the better this substance will cope with the task at hand. But to remove traces of a pen from nails, you need not ordinary alcohol, but ethylene glycol. This substance is contained in the following products:

  • hair fixation spray;
  • cologne and perfume;
  • disinfectants;
  • deodorant.

In order to remove the imprint of the pen, one of the specified products should slightly wet a cotton pad and gently run it over the nail. But you should be very careful - with intense friction, the substance can damage the manicure itself.

In addition, some liqueurs that we are used to eating will help to solve the problem. Moreover, this product is much safer for the manicure itself than all the above means.

Vinegar and lemon

If you don't want to risk it, but you need to wipe the pen off the gel polish, then you should use the tools at hand. So, ordinary vinegar will do, which must be mixed with lemon juice. If there is no lemon in the fridge, it can be replaced with natural orange juice.Citrus juice mixed with a little vinegar is applied to a cotton swab and rubbed gently into the gel polish until the stain is gone.

Toothpaste

Oddly enough, but toothpaste helps to clean not only the teeth. It is also used to make silver look attractive and has recently become known to help remove mascara from a helium pen. You need to apply a small amount of personal care product to an old toothbrush and rub your nail. It is best to use plain white pastes as they get the job done faster. You can mix the product with a small amount of baking soda for a faster, more effective solution to the problem.

Hydrogen peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is the main assistant in the fight against paste traces. It helps to remove it even from documents - just gently drip it onto the spot where there is a stain. Peroxide can help remove the pen even if it is smeared on your nail. To do this, take a small amount of peroxide and apply a drop of the substance to the stained area, and then wait until the stain disappears.

Toilet soap

Some girls use plain soap to wipe off the dirt. They need to lather their nail well, and then rub it with an old toothbrush. Instead of a toothbrush, you can use a small piece of foam rubber - this way the gel will not be scratched, and the manicure will remain attractive.

Eraser

Another simple and safe method is to use an eraser. So, you need to take a hard eraser designed to remove marks from the handle. As a result of this exposure, the stain leaves quickly, and the coating is not damaged and continues to look attractive. You can find and purchase an eraser at any stationery store.

On the contrary, the masters of the nail service do not recommend using a nail polish remover to remove marks from the pen - such a solution will completely ruin the manicure.

An eraser is suitable on a matte top, an antiseptic does an excellent job on a glossy top) Thanks for the article!

Immediately, the toothpaste helped me, only I didn't do it with a brush, but took a little paste on the tip of a cotton swab and rubbed it - and you're done! I have a regular varnish, which does not need to be dried in a lamp and is washed off with acetone. It is not damaged in any way, the color is just as bright, everything is in order, I recommend the paste.

The perfume helped me.
