1. Dry glitter is available in the form of dast and glitter. For their packaging, round flat jars or small cones are used. It is convenient and easy to work with such decor. Loose shiny decor is applied to the sticky layer, followed by a topcoat.
2. The liquid version of the decor is a transparent varnish, to which glittering powder has been added. Such sequins are sold in the same bottles with a brush as regular varnish. The density of the sequins is determined by the manufacturer. It can be increased by applying several layers of varnish, but this is not always appropriate.

It is impossible to pass by the shiny boxes that sparkle and shimmer with magical light. Glitter is never enough, you always want to buy a new decor that will be combined with a new dress, go with a new bow, or just cheer up by decorating your nails. Glitter can be used in a variety of ways in nail design. Let's consider just a few options that are the most successful and popular:

• framing a smile in French manicure and in its reverse version;

• a glitter pattern can be obtained using a stencil or by drawing with a thin brush;

• highlighting individual parts of an already finished drawing;

• the gradient is achieved due to the uneven application of sparkles - near the cuticle the density of the decor is maximum, it gradually decreases or vice versa;

• sequins can cover the entire area of ​​the nail, show off on all fingers or only on a few, in any case, such a design requires the selection of a more modest bow, the use of jewelry is undesirable;

• the youth option is the spot application of sparkling decor.

To make a brilliant manicure at home, you need to familiarize yourself with the existing techniques for applying such a decor. There are several techniques, none of them is difficult, each can be implemented at home even without the appropriate experience.

Each technique should begin with preparing the nails and cuticles for further manipulations. Without such preparation, you don't even need to think about creating a high-quality, beautiful and durable nail design. The preparatory process includes a number of steps.

1. We evaluate the condition and width of the cuticle. If it is not wide, then you can use an orange stick, with which the cuticle is pushed back to the nail bed. Otherwise, you will have to remove the regrown skin.
2. We give the nail plate the desired length and shape. This requires special scissors and a nail file. After cutting the nail, small notches and roughness are located along its edge. To remove them, you will need to use a file for grinding, otherwise the manicure will not be durable, and the nails will constantly cling to clothes, bringing discomfort to their mistress.
3. Processing the plate with a buff allows you to remove microscopic irregularities and roughness from the nail area. It's important not to overdo it with this tool.
4. Dust and other contaminants are removed from polished nails, the plate is degreased.After that, you can apply the base, which is dried in the lamp.

• apply a layer of colored varnish, dry;
• on the formed sticky layer with a dry brush, apply glitter with patting movements;
• the entire surface of the plate must be covered;
• with rubbing movements we drive the sparkles into the varnish, at the same time the remnants of the decor will be removed;
• remove the remaining decor with a brush, which has not joined with the sticky layer;
• for a few seconds we place our hand in the lamp, apply the finish and dry the nails.

It is convenient to apply sequins with varnish in the form of a pattern, this process is performed according to the following scheme:

• in a small container we combine a little varnish and glitter, you need to mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained, the decor can always be added to obtain the desired density;
• it is better to do such a mixture at once for all nails, otherwise it will be difficult to achieve the same density, and the design may differ;
• we collect a small amount of the created mixture on the brush and apply it to the plate in accordance with the chosen design;
• dry, cover with a finish and dry again.

For large decor, it is better to use a different technique. It will ensure the durability of the design and facilitate the work, which will consist of the following steps:

• the future design is thought out in advance, it is better to draw it on paper or practice on a tip, such a decor will be difficult to move along the nail;
• we cover the nail with modeling gel, in our case it is convenient to use this particular material;
• for a convex or large decor, it is necessary to apply a thicker layer of gel than with a regular manicure, in this case the sparkles will be sunk into the coating, and their corners will not protrude and cling in the future;
• with a dots or a magnetic pencil, we catch the sparkle and place it on the nail in the right place;
• dry, cover with a finish and dry again;
• another coat of finish may be required if the decor is protruding, or if a layer was not applied sufficiently thick before.

If glitter has been used in a manicure, it is already irresistible. You need to "try very hard" to spoil the design with such a decor. The most interesting and beautiful ones have been selected from many examples.
