Guitar Firms Review

The guitar was and still is a relatively simple instrument with great sounding, but different brands of guitars differ in price, look, sound and construction. Which ones are better suited for a beginner, and which ones should be left to professionals, we will consider in more detail.

Rating of Korean and Japanese manufacturers
In the Korean market, only a few manufacturers specialize in the production of guitars. The most famous of them are: Ibanez, Washburn, B. C. Rich and, of course, Epiphone.
The problem with Korean instruments is that due to the few brands they all buy material from the same facility. Take, for example, companies A and B. Both order wood, accessories, and so on from the same factory, that is, brands A and B do not differ in price, but the selling value will depend on how well known the company is.

Guitar collectors and musicians often notice that Korean brands are practically the same in sound.
This is not to say that the musical instruments produced in this territory are bad, it just turns out that they are all made the same.
Guitars in Japan were produced in the 60s of the last century. From 1960 to 1985, the so-called golden era of Japanese guitar production began in the Land of the Rising Sun. It was during this period that quite a few brands ascended to the top, which also dominate the current world market.
At the moment, musical instruments from Japan are in particular demand, since the price is equal to the quality. The most famous guitar manufacturers of this country are Fernandes, Yamaha, Greco and many others. And also in the Land of the Rising Sun guitars are produced under American brands: Fender, Gibson, Jackson and many more other brands.

Caparison guitars
One of the most famous brands in Japan. Original design based on the opinion of professional musicians. A company specialized in the production of electric guitars and basses since 1995. The functionality and tactile sensations of this tool will leave no one indifferent.

Crafter
Another fairly popular brand in the global market. They produce musical instruments of various types, but most of all they have gained acceptance in acoustic guitars. Country of origin - Korea. As with many Korean string instruments, the hallmark is superior quality. Stylish design, gentle, balanced sound - this is what the user gets when buying a guitar from this company. The only negative is that it is heavy. Strong lows and depth are felt when playing the instrument. This guitar is rarely used in live performances, but that doesn't make it any worse.

Electric Sound Products
ESP for short is a Japanese brand that has been producing musical instruments since the 70s of the last century. A distinctive feature of these particular guitars is their high quality. This company specializes in the production of bass guitars and electric guitars. Most of the most famous musicians in the world choose ESP guitars.

Ibanez
Those who have been interested in string instruments at least once in their lives must have dreamed of a guitar of this particular brand. The highlight of this brand is its unusual design, wonderful sound and great popularity all over the world.
Their story is also unusual. Guitars began to be produced in 1908, but the decision to enter the world market was made only at the end of the 20th century. To do this, it was necessary to collaborate with someone famous, and Steve Vai fell under this goal. But at that moment, one problem surfaced - the guitarist played only on instruments of his own production. Then the company designed a model that almost completely repeats Steve's version. Only then did the brand begin to grow actively.

Other
These are such guitar companies as Takamine, Taylor, Greg Bennett. They are not very well known compared to Yamaha or Fender, but they still make quality products.

Chinese brands
Good strings are also produced in this country, but very few are known. There is a stereotype that Chinese-made musical instruments are a solid cheap knock-off that has nothing to do with a good instrument. This is partly true information, but do not forget that good Chinese strings are made in the same conditions as all popular brands.
A large number of guitars made in China are only suitable for decorating a room, but there are exceptions to many rules.
There are countless Chinese guitars, but the most famous ones will be briefly described below.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) - guitars created thanks to the increased education in the country. Often these guitars are made to order for Europe, America and Japan, are of high quality compared to other counterparts and sound pretty good. Such guitars can be bought, in particular, abroad. The production of such tools often follows the same pattern: a well-known company orders a batch, giving instructions for the order. Various well-known cheap strings are produced in such factories.

MB-OEM (Major Brand Original Equipment Manufacturer) - this company is similar to OEM, but differs only in that the production at this enterprise is of the best quality.

Veston is an affordable brand of Chinese guitars, known for a large selection of models. The guitar is great for learning, and you shouldn't mind ruining it.

Martinez is another Chinese brandselling tools at bargain prices. Choosing between Veston and Martinez, the second option will be better due to the wide range of models.

Flight - it seems that all the goods of this Asian country can be put in a row, but this is far from the case. Perhaps this particular guitar company will be the best choice for a Chinese product.Unlike the competition, the Flight has a passable sound, greater comfort and good stability.
If the buyer's budget is small, then Chinese goods are ideal for feeling the instrument, the main thing is not to buy a low-quality fake.

Popular Russian brands
Stringed instruments were popular back in the days of the USSR, then, in the 60s, there were a lot of institutions specializing in the assembly and creation of guitars. It seemed difficult to choose something from the domestic assortment.
But, like the factories producing cars and calculators, these factories slowly began to cover up. This was due to competition from other countries. Now you can hardly find original Russian brands of guitars.
On the territory of Russia, few well-known brands are produced that produce guitars, but still there are domestic versions.
At the moment, on the territory of Russia, the top consists of only 2 well-known companies: small production "LADA"located in St. Petersburg, and the project, created exclusively by a Moscow company - "MUZDETAL"... The rather meager selection of models makes it clear why many novice guitarists choose foreign firms.

Other top brands in the world
Let's go back to the well-known logos of guitar companies that are known all over the world. Which ones should a beginner take, and which should be left for professionals?
Yamaha

These strings have excellent quality that allows the buyer to get exactly what he gave his money for. They are versatile and widely available in all parts of the planet.

Gibson
The guitar firm of choice for professional musicians. Acoustic guitars of the most famous American brand. The same well-known American instrument as Gibson, but in contrast to it is much cheaper. The strings of this company are chosen by beginners and amateurs. Fender guitars offer amazing durability, wide range of sounds and reliability.
