The coast of Crimea attracts more and more tourists every year. If you have already visited the new-fashioned resorts of Yalta, Feodosia and Evpatoria, and you want something new, we suggest you visit the small village of Novootradnoe, located in the Leninsky district of the Republic of Crimea, which is part of the Belinsky rural settlement.
This settlement is a godsend for those who travel with children. In this article, we will consider all the options for recreation in the village, and get acquainted with the reviews of tourists who have already rested in Novootradnoye.
A bit of history
Like many settlements on the Crimean Peninsula, Novootradnoye appeared a long time ago. It was first mentioned in the documentary Cameral Description of the Crimea in 1784 under the name Aji-Bai. After the annexation of Crimea to Russia in 1783, the village was empty, the Crimean Tatars emigrated to Turkey. Residents appeared in it again in 1842, on the map the village was indicated by a sign as a small village, that is, less than five courtyards, and it was already considered a Russian village.
In the Memorial Book of the Tauride province for 1900, on the Adzhi-Bai farm, which was part of the Novo-Aleksandrovskoe rural society, there were 11 residents, who did not have households. With the advent of Soviet power in Crimea, the village began to belong to the Kerch district. By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR dated August 21, 1945, Adzhi-Bai was renamed Novootradnoe.
The modern village is small, it is located on 242 hectares, has several streets, 162 courtyards, in which 163 people live. During the holiday season, the population increases several times at the expense of vacationers.
Novootradnoe is a fairly popular vacation spot in eastern Crimea; those who want to relax in a cozy, pleasant and calm environment come here.
Description of the beach
Novootradnoye is located on the shores of the Sea of Azov, which begins to warm up in May; the vacation season starts here early. Tourists come here with pleasure. They are attracted not only by the cleanliness and comfort of the village.
The main advantage of the described place is the beaches. Unlike the narrow Black Sea shores, the beach in Novootradnoye is wide, spacious, covered with sand, and occasionally there are shells. Vacationers like the entrance to the sea - gentle and comfortable. The only drawback can be considered no shade on the beach: of the greenery, only olives are found here, in the shade of which it is impossible to hide.
To protect vacationers from the scorching sun, the local authorities, together with residents, built a small shed with wooden benches, and there are also several umbrellas there. And yet, if you are going to rest in Novootradnoye, it is better to take an umbrella with you. In general, the beach is fun for both children and adults.
Children can ride a "banana", "pill", and have fun riding an inflatable slide right into the sea. Fans of extreme recreation arrange jet ski races; ideal conditions for sailing are created on the beach. And, of course, you can just soak up the beautiful warm sand and sunbathe. If you get hungry, at the height of the season you can buy traditional beach goods in tents: corn, oriental sweets, drinks.
As in all small coastal villages, houses are located along the largest street, and visitors try to settle in the private sector, because the distance to the beach is only 50 meters.
