All about the village of Partenit in Crimea
Partenit is an incredibly beautiful resort village. It is located on the southern coast of Crimea. The gentle sea, majestic mountains, lush greenery and many interesting sights - all this makes tourists come back here again and again.
Description of the village
Partenit is part of the Alushta urban district. It can be found on the map between Alushta and Yalta. The village is located in a picturesque valley. It is surrounded by mountain ranges, green hills and capes. Various species of coniferous and deciduous crops make the local air clean and very healthy. The nature itself creates a fabulous atmosphere here, which is enhanced by the secrets of the ancient Crimean legends.
The population of the village is about 8000 people. The upper and lower regions of Partenit are distinguished. Each has a fairly well-developed infrastructure. There are shops, cafes and restaurants, hotels, health resorts, guarded parking lots, parks. Mountains and dense forests protect the settlement from the cold wind. Thanks to this, the climate here is mild. The resort welcomes guests all year round.
However, the period from June to the end of September is recognized as the best for recreation.
History
The name of the village in translation from Greek means "girlish". According to legend, on one of the mountains surrounding Partenit, there was once a temple of the Virgin Goddess. The Partenit Valley has been inhabited since ancient times. Local residents were engaged in farming, fishing, establishing trade relations. In the future, this place was a seaport, and then - a capital city. As a result, the settlement became a settlement again.
The Raevsky family revived the area, brought the cultivation of vineyards to a new level. They took up wine production, began to decorate the village with rare plants. Nearby were the estates of the Winners and Gagarins, who also appreciated the local climate and nature.
After the war, Partenit was renamed Frunzenskoe. The area acquired a resort purpose, sanatoriums for the military and cosmonauts began to appear. Zhukov, Konev, Leonov, Titov rested here. In 1991, the village regained its original name. Now it is a popular resort area, allowing everyone to relax and improve their body.
How to get there?
It is not difficult to get to the resort from Simferopol airport. An intercity bus station operates here. You need to take a bus or trolleybus going along the route "Simferopol-Yalta". The first option is more convenient, since the trolleybus drops off passengers on the track. In this case, you will have to walk about 3 km from the stop to the village or call a local taxi.
You can also take a bus at the Kurortnaya bus station (in Simferopol). Transport runs every 20 minutes from 8.00 to 20.00. You will be driving for about 1.5 hours. They will drop you off at the local bus station located next to the main entrance to the Krym sanatorium. Another option is to use the transfer from the hotel where you will be staying during your vacation.
Experienced tourists do not recommend agreeing to the offers of taxi drivers at the airport or at the bus station. Otherwise, you will have to spend several times more money on the road than you would on any other option of transportation.
