Overview of Novofedorovka beaches in Crimea

Along the entire coast of Crimea, there are small resort-type villages where you can have a good time. In Novofedorovka, not so long ago, reforms were made that made it possible to improve the coastline.

Not far from the Kalamitsky Bay, there is a small village Novofedorovka. Saki, the more famous resort, is located just 8 kilometers from it.

Tourists come here to enjoy not only the sun and sea, but also mud therapy. Salt lakes have been used for many decades, including:

• Kyzyl-Yar;
• Bogaily;
• Saki.

The ancient settlement stopped at this place in the 5th century AD; the archaeologist Lantsov was able to find evidence of its stay in 1980. For a long time, up to 1917, there was a summer cottage Aly, from where useful mud was transported to Livadia, necessary for the treatment of Tsarevich Alexei.

Nature has endowed the settlement with a convenient location, but, despite this, it is not yet considered a full-fledged resort. The main disadvantages are:

• too close to the airfield, which is why it is noisy and dusty here;
• in some areas there is an access control;
• there are a lot of soldiers and equipment around;
• the landscape can hardly be called attractive.

However, the village has its own advantages:

• stands close to the sea;
• there are many medicinal reservoirs nearby;
• housing is inexpensive;
• well-developed transport links.

Despite the fact that in recent years a lot of efforts have been made and reconstruction has been carried out, you should not expect anything special from the local embankment.The first street is far away, because according to the layout of the village, hotels and small private hotels are closest to the sea. The private sector is removed a little further.

The whole embankment is a place where people come to relax and have fun, but there are no living quarters here... This is not the first reconstruction, the renovation was carried out for the first time in 2003, when it was decided to simply lay a flat asphalt road along which small souvenir shops and cafes lined up.

The opening took place in 2016. The event turned out to be solemn, the scale was really amazing, since the reconstruction was the first step towards the reorganization of the entire Crimea and its improvement. Today, the general idea and idea can be assessed, but the work is still ongoing.

Along the entire length of the embankment, even during the reconstruction, it was decided to leave restaurants and small cafes with shops, but these are no longer just barbecues, but quite attractive buildings with unique architecture. The cost for lunches cannot but please.

There is also an opportunity to rent a bike, there are those who offer exciting excursions to local attractions. The only thing missing here is a shade, because there are problems with landscaping the territory, but there are flower beds.

We can say with confidence that the beach in this area is one of the widest in the entire territory of Crimea. The coastline, several kilometers long, is ready to receive numerous tourists in the midst of summer. The width is also wide, there are both sand and pebbles on the beach.

In the center of Novofedorovka, the beach is regularly covered with gravel, the sea has made them less sharp, but it is still worth wearing special beach shoes, however, as well as renting a sun lounger. This place was named "At the pier". It is popular because gentle descent into the sea, without sudden changes. The bottom is sandy, no debris.

The entire coastal area adjacent to the pier is considered a village beach. The wooden pavement leads to the sea for 130 meters. From here, young people love to dive, and fishermen love to fish. Pleasure boats also dock at the pier. When it got too crowded a few years ago, the city administration decided to improve the neighboring area and gave the beach the name "Deck".

All this place has to offer is comfortable rest, but without much luxury. To keep clean several times a day, the surrounding area is cleaned, there are outdoor toilets and showers where you can wash off the salt water. If you need to change clothes, the changing rooms are also installed in sufficient quantities, water is supplied free of charge from the drinking fountains. All of this is new, so it works properly.

The beach is completely free, but sun beds and umbrellas will have to be paid separately. Paths were laid on the pebbles or sand to make it easier to walk. If the vacation is carried out by a family or a small company, then you can hide in a wardrobe. There is also a separate seating area for those who are used to top-level comfort.

If you are planning to get to the beaches or the Novofedorovka embankment from Simferopol, it is best to take the Kurortnaya bus station.Fixed-route taxis leave from Saki all day seven days a week. City buses make a stop near the Central Square; there is also the Church of Fyodor Ushakov, from which it is not very close to the sea - 2 kilometers on foot, so you can take a taxi.

Comfortable apartments can be rented near the waterfront. There are not only expensive hotels, but also private apartments and guest houses.

A standard room in the private sector will offer a room from 600 rubles, more comfortable ones with air conditioning - from 1000 rubles.

Small hotels offer breakfast to the apartments, the cost of such a stay per day starts at 1800 rubles. The price can vary up to 20% depending on the season.

The few bungalows are quite popular, but you shouldn't expect them to be right next to the sea. There is a certain area behind the embankment, which was given over for building. This is convenient as the sea remains in close proximity and there is no risk of being hit by a storm. Although there are no strong winds here due to the large accumulation of mountains, in bad weather it is better to stay away from the sea surface, since the waves rise high.

In general, there should be no problems with finding a room to stay. Tourists come and go, many do not stay for long, therefore there are always free places, but just in case it is better to book in advance, because then you can save a little.

Most of the tourists who visited Novofedorovka noted the cleanliness of the sea and the beach. Indeed, local authorities make sure that vacationers feel comfortable, so there is regular cleaning.

Those who were here many years ago could not help but note how much the village has changed recently. All changes have taken place only for the better: the beach was equipped with cabins and showers, the embankment was improved and expanded. Many people do not come here, so it is comfortable to relax with children.
