The history of the village of Popovka dates back to the 19th century. If we turn to historical sources, then we can reliably establish the fact that the first mention of this settlement dates back to 1889. Thanks to such a long history, Popovka has a rather high status among other, younger villages. In addition, it should be noted that Popovka steadfastly endured all the turning points in history: the arrival of Soviet power, World War II, the split of the Soviet Union, and much more. If you are looking for a village on the map, then you should turn your attention to the western part of the Crimea peninsula. It is here, in the steppe part on the Black Sea coast, that you will find the indicated settlement. Popovka is quite small in size, the total population is about 200 people, and the number of streets does not exceed 10.
Weather

From this city to the settlement of interest to us, public transport also runs along a route similar to the one described above. At the same time, the beach is not absolutely wild, as here you can find popular entertainment for both children and adults: trampolines, ATVs and so on.
Kazantip
This beach got its name from the music festival of the same name, which took place here several years ago. On this beach, unlike the previous one, there are always quite a lot of people. The sea is quite deep here, and the sand has a beautiful white tint.This beach is also well equipped: there are cafes and shops, you can rent a sun lounger for comfort. The beach is located along Kurortnaya street.
Dolphin
It is considered a children's beach. It is located along Rybalko Street not far from the wellness center. It is an ideal holiday destination for little ones due to the shallow sea here. In order to reach a more or less acceptable depth, you need to walk several kilometers. That is why the water is very warm here.
Central
The promenade of the Central Beach is strewn with sun loungers and umbrellas. This vacation spot is quite popular and therefore crowded. Despite the fact that the beach is called Central, it is located on the outskirts of Popovka.

Outside Popovka, but not too far - just 5 kilometers away, there is a funny and curious museum called "Sea Curiosities". The exposition is represented by objects that were thrown onto the land by the sea. Here you can find not only bottles or rubbish, but also the remains of ships and other mysterious objects.
Lake Donuzlav is an unusual attraction of Popovka. Its main feature is that it is both bland and salty at the same time. Of the new and unusual attractions on the territory of Popovka, you should visit Bifuz. This is the place where a large-scale Crimean festival was supposed to take place, but its organization failed.
Nevertheless, many bizarre and unusual structures have survived here, so this place is known among vacationers as an excellent location for photo shoots.

In addition, if you drive away from Popovka, you can find mud lakes.
As for cafes and restaurants, there are not many of them in Popovka. For the most part, they are represented by classic cuisine. If you decide to eat in such establishments, then you should give preference to fish and seafood dishes, as they are always fresh here, as well as barbecue. The Crimean peninsula and the village of Popovka located on its territory are an excellent place to relax. Despite the fact that there are no shopping malls or high-tech leisure places, you will find everything you need in the village. In addition, you will be pleased with the prices, because here they are much lower than in the cities of the resorts.
At the same time, it should be noted in advance that rest in Popovka is not suitable for everyone.So, if you are a married couple with children or an elderly spouse, then this location can be an excellent option for you. Here you will find quiet beaches and children's entertainment, as well as historical sites.
