The first mention of Pribrezhny (at that time Kara-Tobe) was recorded in 1912, when a zemstvo school of salt-mining masters was opened. Most likely, the village was formed from residents working in the salt fields near the Tepe Oba hill. This settlement belonged to the Saki volost of the Evpatoria district and consisted of 4 courtyards of local residents. Since 1921, the village was part of various administrative units: volost, county, okrug. In 1926, the village of Kara-Tobe included 33 households, and the population was 196 people.

In 1935, the Presidium of the CEC of Crimea issued a decree on the creation of the Saki region, and the village was included in its composition. After the liberation of the peninsula from the fascist invaders, the resettlement of collective farmers began from some regions of the RSFSR, and from 1950 - from Ukraine.

By the decree of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR in 1948, the village of Kara-Tobe was renamed Pribrezhnoe.Since 1962, the village was part of the Evpatoria region, after the abolition of which in 1965, Pribrezhnoye became part of the Saki region of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

The modern Pribrezhnoye settlement includes about 16 streets, 3 lanes and the Morskoye residential area, as well as a local railway station. Population is about 680 people.

Three kilometers west of the regional center of Saki and 10 kilometers south-east of Evpatoria is the Pribrezhnaya railway station. The village itself is located at the beginning of the spit, which separates the sea and Lake Sasyk, and the beaches are located between the Simferopol highway and the Black Sea, that is, they are formally located outside the border of the village. Coastal is the closest place from Simferopol with sandy beaches, where you can get there without much difficulty.

Since the village of Pribrezhnoye is located not far from Evpatoria, you can get here from Simferopol airport by a direct bus passing along the Simferopol highway. You can also use the services of a transfer or taxi, but it will cost several times more than a bus ride. If there is no direct bus to Pribrezhnoye, you can get from the Kurortnaya bus station in Simferopol to Evpatoria, and then change to transport to the place.

From the railway station Simferopol in the direction of Evpatoria there are about 5 regular trains, which stop at Pribrezhnoye.

Good conditions for the improvement of children are offered by children's camp "Wave", located near the city administration. In the area of ​​the beach of the village of Pribrezhnoe there is Saki lake with curative mud, where tourists from all over the country come annually.

One of the largest Crimean water parks is located on the westernmost part of the Coastal Beach "Banana republic", at the height of the season, it receives a huge number of guests, both local vacationers and holidaymakers from Evpatoria.

• lack of entertainment centers, nightclubs, discos;
• in some parts of the coastal zone, the density of buildings restricts access to the beaches.
