The village of Morskoye attracts beach lovers who want to stay away from the bustle of the city. Fresh air from the sea, a pebble beach and minimal comfort conditions suit connoisseurs of "wild" rest. The infrastructure in Morskoye is developing, so different categories of tourists can get satisfaction from their stay there today. When going to Crimea in this particular place, you need to take into account the peculiarities of recreation in the village of Morskoye.

Description

The resort is located by the sea, surrounded by mountains. The Kapsikhor Valley is nestled between the Ai-Foka and Agira capes. Geographically, the village of Morskoye belongs to the administrative center of Sudak.

There are vineyards in the village for almost two kilometers. The plantation is planted along the banks of the Shelen River. The famous dessert wine "Ai-Serez" is produced from local vineyards. The company that produces it has won many prizes in various competitions.

General characteristics of the resort:

  • foundation year - 1380;
  • population - 2500 people;
  • territory - 6.5 sq. km.

Morskoe is located 15 km from Sudak, nearby there is a highway to Alushta. The place is closest for those who get to the resort via a ferry crossing. Roads in Crimea are congested during the season, so the choice of Morskoy, located on the East Coast, is an excellent option for those who want to have a good rest, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the people.

Eastern Crimea is considered less developed in comparison with the southern coast of Crimea. Serious competition is the presence of two seas - the Azov and the Black, the absence of sea currents, which makes the water especially warm and pleasant.During the season, Morskoye is not particularly crowded with tourists; there is definitely a place on the beach. In the velvet season, you can completely relax without spending fabulous money on accommodation.

Climate features

The weather on the eastern coast of Crimea is moderate. It is not particularly hot here during the high season. The local relief is predominantly flat, there are small rocky areas. There are dense forest stands, sea bays, mysterious caves in the mountains.

When going on a trip, it is worth considering that slightly dry weather may turn out to be in July. In the hottest month, the temperature rises to 35 degrees. The sea breeze helps to endure the sultry heat.

In the rest of the months, the temperature is kept from 20 degrees, and the season begins in May and ends in September. There is practically no windy weather here, since the village is surrounded by hills from the west and east.

The Ai-Foka and Choban-Kale capes serve as the natural boundaries of the village. The rivers Voron and Shelen flow in the valley. The ecological situation is good both at the beginning and at the end of the season, which is rarely observed in the resorts of the South Coast.

It is especially beautiful in the Marine spring, when local plants are in bloom. In May, Crimea is already warm enough.

If swimming in the sea is not part of the plans, it is better to come in winter for sightseeing and sanatorium treatment. Local sanatoriums are year-round, constantly ready to receive guests. In addition to sanatoriums, there are other accommodation options.

Lodging

The choice of housing in Morskoye is quite large:

  • private sector;
  • guest House;
  • hotel by the sea;
  • boathouses;
  • base.

Crimean slipways are comfortable accommodation that welcomes guests on the very first coastline. Tourists choosing a beach holiday appreciate such accommodation very much. From here you can immediately go to the embankment, and also get a wonderful view of the sea coast.

Classic boathouses are structures of several floors, while the buildings are very close to each other. Housing is often private, so there will be a minimum of amenities, and no private territory is provided at all. Motorists will have to look for a separate parking lot.

The private sector in the Marine is recommended to choose in advance, as in the season the seats can be booked. Prices for accommodation per day per traveler will range from 1,000 to 6,000 rubles.

In Morskoy there is a hotel by the sea, called "Sun Stone". The institution has an equipped beach with a length of 400 meters. The guests of the sanatorium are provided with the best conditions for a beach holiday.

There are also camp sites in Morskoe, here those who want to relax will find:

  • furnished houses with a shared kitchen or an inexpensive dining room;
  • summer shower room with hot water;
  • dryer and restroom;
  • electricity and internet.

    Some of these sites provide an opportunity to set up their own tent or provide places for motorists. Of the additional services, the owners of recreation centers provide:

    • delivery from the station;
    • children's play area;
    • sports grounds;
    • rental of sports equipment, catamarans;
    • barbecues, gazebos, hammocks.

    The best beaches

    Lovers of coastal pastime go to rest in Morskoe. Local embankments are not luxurious, but they are clean and well-groomed. Mountain landscapes around add resort romance.

    The village of Morskoye is famous for its bay, which is closed on one side by Cape Ai-Foka, and on the other by Cape Kabaniy. There is a wild coastline that can only be reached by sea. Descent from land is impossible due to large boulders and small crumbs. The territory itself and the bottom are covered with pebbles, and large boulders come across under the water.

    The local water is clean and clear, and among the rocks are crabs and other marine life. The area was chosen by novice divers who are trained in a special center in Sudak.

    Another beach is located near this area, it is also wild, and nudists rest here. This territory is accessible from the coast, but it is far to go to it. Despite the rather spacious territory, there is no large influx of tourists here, although “dressed” tourists are also allowed here. The water is clean, the entrance is shallow, the bottom is pebbly, but there are no amenities at all.

    If you take the direction to the west of the sea, you can go to another beach, which was chosen by motorists. It is located near the highway, but in a calm, so the unfinished boarding house serves as a reference point for beginners. The place is popularly called "At the Protracted Construction". There is no infrastructure here, but the car can be stopped right on the shore, it is possible to spend the night in a tent. Vacationers take care of the cleanliness of the territory themselves.

    If you need a beach with infrastructure for recreation, then the old-timers of the Morskoy are advised to choose the Central beach. It is the longest coastline in the center and is wide enough to accommodate a large number of guests. The beach is equipped with drinking fountains, toilets and changing rooms. The coast is covered with pebbles, the entrance to the sea is gentle, the water is good. There are several cafes in the center, there is a pier near the beach, so you can rent boats or buy a ticket for a boat trip.

    sights

    Lovers of historical artifacts can visit the Tasili Sea Fortress. This dilapidated castle is located on Cape Choban-Kule. And from the east of the village, on the Ai-Foka cape, there are ancient monastic ruins. Lovers of natural beauty should pay attention to a small grove with rare pine trees. There is a Kapsikhor mosque in the center of the village.

    Leisure for tourists

    Leisure in Morskoye can be spent in a relatively calm rural environment. There is a decent distance to the nearest town, so people who are not spoiled by excesses spend their time in Morskoye. The place of rest is chosen by tourists of the older generation, less often families with children. The sea cannot be called wilderness, especially during the season.

    The town is filled with people, and summer discos are opening for young people. Car travelers have chosen the area thanks to the convenient exits to the embankment. There is practically no leisure time, except for a beach holiday: catamarans, children's slides, water skis and scooters.

    In summer, touring artists, circus troupes come to the village, an amusement park comes off. Guests can spend time in numerous cafes and restaurants, where there is billiards and tennis. The local nightclub is open only during the season and opens right on the shore of the central beach.

    There is a very beautiful area around the village: rocky capes are picturesque, they literally grow out of the sea. Full of cozy bays, the slopes of which are strewn with vineyards. The villages are green, relatively quiet. Local entertainment is uncomplicated, but full of fruits and fine Massandra wines.

    In Morskoy there is a unique place where admirers of Viktor Tsoi's work come. Fans of creativity of the group "Kino" gather at the monument in the form of a guitar.

    How to get there?

    The most convenient way to get to Morskoe is by car, via the ferry crossing, following the signs to Sudak. From here you will need to turn onto the highway to Alushta, which also goes to Morskoe.

    The flight departs from the city bus station every hour.

    Reviews

    Travelers speak positively about Marine. Family people celebrate inexpensive accommodation, and youth groups advocate the opportunity to choose various sea activities, as in expensive resorts, but at a low price. Stopping points are available for small and large groups of travelers.

    Marine is recommended for selection by 92% of users, noting the climate, ecology, culture. The place is suitable for those who are not afraid of the lack of infrastructure and are able to organize their leisure at sea on their own.

    This charming corner in Crimea will not leave indifferent those who like camping. The sea itself is full of proposals from the owners of the private sector, the home environment is conducive to a cozy holiday.

    Tourists heading to other parts of Crimea pay attention to Morskoe, and once stopping here, they choose this place in the future. Rest in Morskoy can be diversified by trips to Sudak or Alushta, because from the local bus station there are scheduled routes every hour.

    Despite the remoteness of the village from the central cities of Crimea, local beaches are also crowded during the season, and there is practically no entertainment in the town.

    This is perhaps the only negative review about the rest in Morskoe. When planning a trip, choose the start or end of the season.
