Husky appearance at 1 month

At birth, husky puppies are born blind and clumsy. In a month, they already become mobile and quick-witted babies. At this age, they can have different colors: from beige to gray. Husky's eyes are beautifully almond-shaped, can "squint" a little. The ears are triangular and directed upwards. The back is straight, the chest is not wide. The tail is directed downward. The lips are black or brown and close tightly.

The nutritional status of a puppy at this age does not depend on how they are fed. There are calm kids with a good appetite, and there are those who run and play more, and forget about food. That is why monthly huskies come in different builds.

The choice of a puppy is best done based on the preferred gender and eye color.You should not pay close attention to the color of the coat, since this parameter of the dog's appearance can change until the dog reaches the age of two.

Weight of puppies

After birth, huskies rapidly gain weight, as they sleep and eat a lot. At birth, they weigh very little - about 500 grams. Upon reaching the age of one month, their body weight increases by about 6 times. And the puppy weighs roughly 2750-3000 grams. To understand whether the baby is developing normally, it is necessary to weigh the puppy once a week for up to six months. This way you can check if you are feeding him correctly. Overfeeding and underfeeding are equally bad for the growth and development of the dog.

Eating a one-month-old husky

When choosing a diet, it is important to keep in mind that your puppy needs a balanced meal. He must get an optimal set of proteins, fats and carbohydrates with food in order to feel good. Vitamin supplements, as well as mineral complexes developed specifically for puppies of this breed, will not interfere. What's the best food for a little husky?

  1. Meat products. Namely, chicken, beef, lamb, turkey should prevail over other foods in the puppy's diet. They are a highly digestible protein that is certainly essential for the growth, development and building of muscle in your dog.
  2. By-products. They should be given at least every other day, since this food is rich in vitamins and minerals.
  3. Bones and cartilage (except chicken). They are very useful for small dogs to chew, so that their jaw muscles and bite develop correctly. And the good mood of the baby is ensured if you give him a tasty bone from time to time. By adding cartilage to the meat, your puppy will get a good amount of collagen. This substance is very useful for the formation of your own cartilage and joints.
  4. Sea fish. In addition to high-quality protein content, fish contains phosphorus, an abundance of vitamins, fish oil and other useful substances. And they are very necessary for a small growing organism.
  5. Fermented milk products. Curd and kefir will be an excellent source of calcium for husky puppies. It is preferable to give them in the morning and use only low-fat foods for feeding.
  6. Eggs. A couple of times a week, you can give your baby chicken or quail eggs, more precisely, their yolk.
  7. Cereals. You need to give them, but very little, mixing them with the meat. Better to use oatmeal, buckwheat and rice.
  8. Vegetables. Husky are happy to eat zucchini, cabbage, tomatoes, pumpkin and many other vegetables. They are necessary for optimal functioning of the digestive tract, but you should not overdo it with their quantity and it is better to ask your veterinarian about the amount of the daily dose of vegetables.
  9. Vitamin and mineral complex. In veterinary pharmacies, you can find the right treats containing vitamins and minerals for puppies. But the veterinarian will help you find the best ones.
  10. Fruits. It is better not to give them to young dogs, but as an exception, you can please the puppy with dried apricots or a slice of banana.

The further health of an adult depends on the quality of the diet. It is strictly forbidden to give sweets, smoked products, nuts and potatoes. Also, food should not be salted. When choosing ready-made feeds, it is better to consult a veterinarian and choose premium food.

Puppy care

Proper grooming will help raise a healthy animal. You need to carefully consider the dog's habitat. What you need to consider in this moment:

  • safety (all wires must be removed, like other dangerous items);
  • a litter with a removable cover is required;
  • it is worth purchasing a leash and harness in advance so that the puppy gets used to the smell and does not get nervous in the future;
  • food and water bowls should be kept clean at all times.

The concept of grooming also includes raising a husky puppy. This is a very freedom-loving and proud breed, therefore, you need to behave strictly even with a one-month-old husky. Otherwise, he will decide that the owner of the house is himself.You need to educate by the method of encouragement and punishment.

Husky hair must be looked after... For this, special brushes and shampoos are purchased. You need to scratch a one-month-old husky once a day, then, as you grow older, you need to do this once a week. You don't need to wash your little puppy too often. Adult dogs are washed once a year. But you need to take special care of your baby's ears. A couple of times a week they need to be cleaned with a cotton swab dipped in hydrogen peroxide.
