For several seasons, biowave for hair has not lost its popularity. This is not surprising: after all, wavy curls have always been considered the pride and main decoration of a woman. For many years, any long-term styling was associated with a high risk of hair damage, but modern technology allows you to get elastic curls without much damage to them.

Peculiarities

Biowave is procedure for obtaining persistent and elastic curls with simultaneous nutrition, effective treatment and moisturizing of the curls themselves, as well as the root area of the scalp.

The preparations used for the procedure are 50% natural ingredients, they do not contain any aggressive ingredients that destroy the hair shaft and turn the hair into a "washcloth".

The basis of any preparations for biowaving is cystamine hydrochloride. it synthetic protein with a rather unpleasant aroma. He is complete analogue of natural proteinincluded in the structure of the strands, therefore does not destroy the hair shaft, but, on the contrary, completely replenishes the lost part of the protein bonds, makes curls more voluminous and shiny. In addition to it, the composition of the solutions includes a variety of medicinal additives, due to which the hair acquires a lively and neat look.

Biowave perform on hair of any length, except for the ultrashort one, since the main thing here is the ability to wind the lock on the bobbin. It looks especially good on long strands. Usually, in such a case, the master applies curlers of several sizesalternating them with each other. In this case, you can make curls along the entire length, curl the ends separately, or slightly raise the root areas.

Owners of long hair often do vertical biowave using special bobbins. Such curls look really luxurious, however, and require considerable investment.

There are several types of biowave. The first involves the use of formulations that contain only amino acids, but the second type of funds is more popular, which additionally include nourishing oils, vitamin and mineral complexes... Among them, there are 3 most popular options for bioprocessing.

Japanese perm

In this case, the composition of the drug includes betaineresponsible for the effective hydration of the hair, as well keratinmaking the strands strong, collagen and tea tree extracts.

Hair color remains bright and rich even after repeated repetitions of the procedure. The curl lasts for about six months, slowly unwinding during this period.

Silk wave

The most gentle perm that optimal for dull, lifeless strands... As a result of curling, soft, lively and elastic curls of weak fixation are obtained. This action is explained by the inclusion of silk proteins, which delicately restore the hair structure. With proper care, curls last for about 2 months.

Italian

Assumes using a solution of maximum fixation, which includes a variety of vitamin complexes, is usually used on different types of hair. At the exit, it gives a small curl that lasts 5-6 months.

Owners of long curls usually use Japanese compositions or preparations based on silk, the Italian technique is more in demand among short-haired women.

Advantages and disadvantages

Biowaving has advantages over traditional chemistry.

  • Sparing impact... Of course, it’s impossible to say that biowave is 100% safe for hair: like any other chemical effect, it causes some harm to the strands. But unlike regular curling or everyday styling with a curling iron, hair suffers to a much lesser extent.
  • Long lasting effect... In most cases, when biowaving, the hair returns to its original state within 5 months, and the curls stay on 3. In addition, if you are tired of curls, you can go through your hair with an iron - they will immediately straighten and become curled again only after washing your hair. With a perm, it is impossible to straighten the curl in any way.

However, there were some drawbacks.

  • Technique not recommended for women with weakened and thinning hairdamaged as a result of unsuccessful curling or aggressive dyeing. In this case, it makes sense to first carry out a complex of restorative procedures, get rid of split ends and only after that consider the option of biowaving.
  • Get rid of completely from the effects of biowave can only be a haircut. Of course, the curl develops within six months, but even after that, some semblance of curls remains at the tips. However, many attribute this property to the merits of technology.

The biowave has a number of contraindications.

  • Pregnancy.
  • Lactation period.
  • Undergoing a course of treatment with antibiotics or hormonal drugs, as well as chemotherapy.
  • Do not perm during menstruation, because at this point hormones can affect the expected result and lead to uneven perm.

Technique

Biowave is carried out in three stages.

  • Preparation... At this stage, the master assesses the condition of the hair and chooses the optimal means for biowaving. After that, an allergy test is required on the skin and individual strands. To do this, the solution is applied for 15-25 minutes on the wrist area or the place of the elbow bend, as well as on a thin strand selected from the back of the head.

If the skin does not have any painful sensations, redness and swelling, and the strand has not changed its color and structure, then you can safely use the drug for the procedure. Immediately before curling, the hair should be washed with a professional deep shampoo: this will allow the strands to be prepared as best as possible for the penetration of the main components of the preparation.

  • Perm... Next, you need to divide the hair into separate strands and wind each one on a bobbin, then apply an active solution and leave for a quarter of an hour. During this time, the synthetic protein penetrates into the hair shaft, changing its structure, and replaces part of the natural protein bonds. Under the influence of active components, the curl changes its shape and is able to maintain a new shape for quite a long time.
  • Fixation... After 15 minutes, the hair is thoroughly washed with running water, without unwinding the curlers, immediately after that a fixative is applied to them, which seals the hair scales, and also restores the water composition and acidity of the strands. The retainer is kept for 10 minutes, after which the bobbins are removed, wait another 5 minutes and the hair is thoroughly washed. After completing all the manipulations, you should treat your hair with a conditioner balm.
