So, for work we need:

• a sheet of polystyrene of the required thickness;
• cardboard for creating a template;
• ruler, pencil, scissors;
• a clerical knife or a device with a nichrome thread for cutting foam;
• black marker;
• wallpaper glue or PVA;
• acrylic paint;
• decorative material.

Cutting numbers from foam is carried out in the following way.

1. Initially, the desired font and size of the craft are selected.
2. On a sheet of cardboard, using a ruler and a pencil, draw the outline of the numbers according to the specified parameters. Then they are carefully cut out.
3. The template is applied to the plane of the foam. Outline the outline with black marker.
4. The numbers are cut out according to the pattern using a device with nichrome. A utility knife can be used, but it will not provide clean enough cuts.
5. The edges of the figurines are sanded to make them look more attractive.
6. Accidentally received chips are covered with paper smeared with wallpaper glue or PVA. Super glues are not used, as they destroy the foam.

• Then each circle rises up and forms in the form of a densely collected petal.
• In this way, the required number of flower heads is made.
• Ready-made roses with a stapler or with the help of glue are fixed on the surface of the numbers, forming magnificent decorative items.

This type of paper already has a certain volume, so the buds from it are even easier. For work, choose any color of the material and do the following.

• Cut the paper into strips 50x3.5 cm so that the veins on the petals go vertically.
