Children often need artificial food for role-playing games. You can buy it in the store or make it yourself. So, you can mold cabbage forks with your own hands from plasticine. To do this, you need to prepare the necessary material and tools, as well as familiarize yourself with the master class.

How to mold a white cabbage?

To mold white cabbage forks, you need green and white plasticine. From the tools you need to prepare only a sculpting board, a special plastic knife and an orange stick.

The step-by-step process of creating white cabbage from plasticine is presented below.

  1. Put a piece of green plasticine on the board and cut off about 1/4 from it. Of course, the size of the vegetable can be different, so if you want to get a fairly large specimen, you can use half a bar. The cut piece must be kneaded well in your hands and rolled into a ball. This will be the center piece of the vegetable and can be set aside for now.
  2. At the next stage, you need to cut off another 1/2 from the rest of the plasticine green, also take white plasticine and separate 1/4 part from the total mass.
  3. White plasticine needs to be divided into 4 more parts... Form a ball from each (the size is about the same). Next, each ball should be spread out in such a way that shapes are obtained that are identical to cabbage leaves. While they are still soft, you can stick them around the central ball, which was prepared initially.
  4. Now is the time to take a piece of green plasticine, divide it into 4 equal parts and, according to the same principle, form balls first, and then leaves. Green leaves must also be glued to the base, on top of the white leaves.
  5. We will make 4 more balls from the remainder of the green plasticine, turn them into leaves and stick on top of the first green ones. This completes the process of creating a plasticine vegetable. There are a few last but very important touches left to do.

An important point! Each subsequent layer of leaves (first white, and then green) must be glued to the base so as to cover the joints of the leaves of the previous layer.

Now you need to arm yourself with an orange stick and make a cross-section and irregularities on the outside of the fork. So the vegetable will look more like a real one. For maximum naturalness, it is better to round off the edges of the very last layer of leaves on top. As a result, the shape should look something like the one shown in the figure.

How to make broccoli?

Broccoli is no less interesting vegetable for modeling... It is interesting that to create it, as in the first case, you will need only two colors of plasticine: green and white.

The step-by-step process of creating a figure is as follows.

  1. Put green plasticine on the modeling board and cut off about 1/2 of it... Then we divide the resulting mass into 5 more parts: 4 are identical, and one should be slightly larger in size - this will be the central stem of the broccoli.
  2. Most of you need to knead well, and then roll an elongated oval out of it. We process the remaining four pieces in the same way, and then connect them together around the central part.
  3. Then you need to take a block of white plasticine and use a knife to separate about 1/4 of... This mass needs to be distributed into 5 more parts, and then each of them must be turned into balls.
  4. The balls need to be glued on top of the stems, which were made from green plasticine. In the process of joining the white parts with the green base, it is better to flatten the balls a little. This will improve the grip and make the vegetable look more natural.

This completes the main part of the work. Next, you need to move on to the decor, and again, use the orange stick. With a sharp end, you need to poke on top of the stuck vegetable to create a rough effect on the white part. After finishing, the vegetable should look something like the picture shown.

Other sculpting ideas

The two previous options can be called classic. But there is also the so-called red cabbage. You can also try to sculpt this attractive vegetable with plasticine. To create a figure, it is recommended to prepare: a sculpting board, a knife, an orange stick, as well as purple and white plasticine.

Since this vegetable resembles ordinary white cabbage in shape, the process of creating it from plasticine will be identical. It doesn't make sense to re-describe the entire procedure. The most important change to keep in mind is to replace green with purple. At the final stage, do not forget to use the orange stick to create a natural look.

If you wish, you can make half a fork of cabbage. To do this, stuck together white or red cabbage just need to be cut in half.
