How to mold a monkey from plasticine?

Plasticine sculpting is a fun activity that makes it easy to develop hand motor skills and children's imagination. A variety of original figures can be made from this material. Often, toys in the form of animals are created from it. Today we will talk about how to make a plasticine monkey with your own hands.

To begin with, we will analyze the simplest classic version of the step-by-step creation of a plasticine monkey. You should first prepare all the materials necessary for this:

• brown and yellow plasticine;
• plastic stack;
• board for working with material.

Next, a brown base is taken, a small even ball is rolled out of it, it will be needed to form the head. You also need to make two yellow details for the design of the face. Two light cakes are carefully molded onto dark plasticine, placing them close to each other.

Then ears are attached to the head, made of two flattened ovals. Then you can start shaping the body. To do this, you need to create an egg-shaped brown blank and a small yellow cake. They are molded on top of each other, and a toothpick or match is also immediately fixed in the place where the head will join.

The torso and head are connected. After that, they again take the brown mass and make thin straight flagella out of it. Their yellow material is formed by two small cakes, on which three cuts are made in a stack. The details are connected in such a way as to make the hands of a monkey.

Later, the resulting limbs are carefully attached to the body. The legs are made in the same way, but at the same time they should be slightly larger. All of this is also attached to the body. At the end, add a long and thin tail.

There are many other ideas on how to make such a figurine from plasticine in stages with your own hands. Let's take a look at some of them.

To create such a monkey, first one ball is rolled out of pink material. Two balls are made of white (one is small, the other is a little larger). A flat blank is formed from a small base, and then a heart is cut out of it to decorate the upper part of the muzzle. The resulting element is attached to a large pink part.

A second white blank is placed on top of the heart, which is given an oval shape. For the ears, roll two balls of both colors. Using a stack, small indentations are made in them, and then these elements are attached to the monkey's head.

Next, openings for the eyes are created in a stack. Black beads are inserted into them. Also, with this device, the mouth and nose are cut out on the muzzle. Later, they begin to perform the torso and limbs. To do this, take five pink balls (four of them with the same size).

The largest of them is given an ovoid shape, resulting in a torso. From all the others, thin and long sausages are rolled. At the end, all the parts obtained are connected to each other.

First, the blanks are made. To do this, roll up three balls and five flagella. In this case, it is better to take plasticine of brown, burgundy and beige colors. To get a beige, you can mix white and orange materials. One brown ball is slightly flattened on one side, then a small piece is torn off from the plasticine of a different color and given an oval shape, this element is attached to the flat part of the first blank.

At the same time, they begin to form the muzzle. Eyes are made from white and black bases. You will also need to cut out the ears of a round or oval shape. They are attached to the head.

The stack is used to make a smile and a nose. The second brown ball is shaped into a drop, this blank is slightly flattened from above. A flagellum is created from light plasticine and also flattened a little. The resulting parts are connected to each other. At the end, the head is attached to the body, the limbs are formed from burgundy or dark brown material, they are also connected to the rest of the blanks.

When the monkey is ready, they start sculpting a banana. For this, a yellow plasticine mass is taken, a thin and long sausage is rolled out of it, and then bent in such a way that an arc is obtained, at the ends it will have to taper slightly. After that, the banana is fixed in the hands of the monkey.

To mold such a figure, two brown balls are rolled (one of them should be a little lighter). After that, the parts are given the shape of a drop and pressed down a little by hand. These elements are connected to each other. As a result, you get a blank for the body.

To form the head, the same plasticine is taken, a ball is rolled out of it, nostrils and a smile are cut out on it with a stack. They also create round or oval ears. All this is attached to the torso.

Later, spherical blanks for modeling limbs are rolled out of plasticine. All of them also join the body of the monkey. The tail is made separately from a thin and long flagellum. Next, they start making New Year's accessories. In this case, you should make a red cap. For this, a cone-shaped blank is made from the mass of the corresponding color. The edging for it is made white. Also, a pom-pom is performed at the top of the cap. The finished part is attached to the head.

There are some helpful tips to keep in mind when working with content like this. So, do not forget that before starting the manufacture of figures, plasticine should be prepared. It is carefully kneaded in the hands so that it becomes soft. To speed up the process, it can be placed in a bowl of hot water.
