How to make an eagle from plasticine?
Knowing how to make an eagle out of plasticine is very important for DIY lovers. Having figured out how to blind a simple eagle in stages and how to make it with wire, you can decorate your home with a pretty craft. Separately, it is worth dealing with the sculpting of an eagle sitting on a branch.
Simple option
A majestic, even proud bird will be a worthy addition to the collection of handicrafts for the most discerning lovers. But the simplicity of her portrayal is deceiving. It is advisable to study photos and videos that allow you to capture all the grace and grace of the inhabitant of the mountains and steppes. Black plasticine is taken for:
- wings;
- hulls;
- tail.
In this case, the beak and paws must be yellow. White head and neck will also fit into the created composition.
Stages:
- rolling of a moderately large black ball;
- modeling of white "peanut nut";
- stretching one of the edges with your fingers in a circle to get something like a "skirt";
- transforming a black piece of plasticine into an egg-shaped block;
- attaching this part on top of the white mass;
- bending of the beak downward and setting in place;
- rolling plasticine into triangular cakes and creating wings, the strips on which are cut in a stack;
- mounting the wings and raising them up;
- complementing the figure with black eyes and white eyebrows;
- fastening massive yellow paws;
- black tail installation.
How to blind with wire?
It is possible, in principle, to reproduce the previous version in stages - only by adding a wire frame to all large parts. But usually they do it differently. The blank under the body of the bird will be black. The head becomes white - however, the common thing between these parts is that they both have an oval shape.They tie the ovals together with a match, and stretching a part of the plasticine on the head will simulate feathers.
Next steps:
- sculpting a yellow beak;
- creating black and white eyes;
- preparation of black triangular blanks under the wings;
- filling these blanks with a thin wire support;
- imitation of feathers;
- wire attachment of the wings to the body and to the head;
- elaboration of an eagle's tail;
- preparation of paws (they can be made more threatening by making powerful claws).
Modeling a figure sitting on a bitch
This option is no less interesting than the two previous compositions. It is quite realistic to make an eagle from plasticine on a tree branch. Begin by rolling the brown round billet. It is then stretched like a drop. Next, make "pants" on the paws of the bird.
These parts are prepared again from brown plasticine. Then the time comes to make a thickened sausage, the edges of which are rounded off. This workpiece is cut into 2 parts. Both pieces are glued to the bottom of the eagle's body. Further:
- create a short neck and a powerful head (they need white material);
- make an oblong tail;
- sculpt wings from maroon or dark brown plasticine;
- form and make a yellow beak;
- large paws are attached to the body;
- put the figure on a large, powerful snag.
Tips for Beginners
Regardless of the chosen plot, you must follow some recommendations.
- The head should look like a small dome.
- The joint between head and body may not be too even. All the same, it will be massive and will be visually hidden by the plumage.
- Saving plasticine on the formation of wings is hardly reasonable.
- A wire frame is required if soft clay is used. The larger the figure, the more relevant this requirement is.
To mask individual sections of the wire, it is simply coated with plasticine of a suitable color. Therefore, it is better to take this material with a certain margin.
