Pizza is a popular dish loved by many around the world. And children love her no less than adults, so she often appears on the menu for dolls of little hostesses. Such a pizza is created from plasticine, and in this article we will talk about how to make it for children with their own hands, and also figure out how to mold a pizza on cardboard.

Useful Tips

When starting sculpting, it is important to first familiarize yourself with its specifics and the place it occupies in the child's activities. Girls who often play with dolls purchase household items or clothes for their toys: they buy with their parents or make them themselves. In an effort to completely imitate adults and copy scenes from life, little girls use the most familiar and available replacement materials. These include plasticine, familiar from childhood. Modeling from it is easier than from clay, and the variety of colors allows you to create a variety of objects.

You can talk a lot about the benefits of modeling from plasticine, but, speaking briefly, you can highlight the following aspects:

  • development of fine motor skills;
  • development of observation;
  • familiarity with the basic forms;
  • development of associative and spatial thinking.

It is a mistake to believe that modeling from plasticine is equally easy for everyone. Even in adults, it can cause some difficulties. Therefore, it is important to help the child in this matter, so that the creative process brings not only benefits, but also pleasure. If the child is worried, you can turn on funny or relaxing music (for example, "I sculpt from plasticine" by Tatiana and Sergey Nikitin).

Another point: if your child does not like this or that color for any element of the future pizza, you can always mix it from two colors.For example, having no brown color, it can be replaced by mixing yellow and orange, or orange and white, and so on.

How to make on cardboard?

The easiest version of plasticine pizza is, of course, pizza on cardboard. In this case, it literally replaces the dough and already makes it easier for the child. Let's see how to do it step by step. Cut out a circle from yellow or orange cardboard. Approximate diameter - 8 cm if the pizza is for Barbie dolls. Its ideal shape is not particularly important here. An alternative to cardboard, as in the photo below, is a painted sheet.

We roll small balls of the same size from pink or red plasticine. Flatten - we get sausage rings. Similarly, we roll several smaller red balls, flatten them and apply a cross-shaped pattern with a stack. These are tomato rings.

We also create balls of even smaller size, flatten them and add small dots. The result is cucumber rings. We roll a thin sausage from white plasticine (preferably with a palm, for evenness) and divide it. Roll several balls out of yellow plasticine (in the same amount as the white segments) and give them the shape of a mushroom cap. Attach the caps to the bases of the mushrooms.

Roll a few small purple balls to form olives. We make a thin sausage from yellow plasticine, divide. Spread the resulting ingredients onto a piece of cardboard. This is the most interesting stage for the child.

The only disadvantage of this option for children is that the pizza cannot be divided into portions by the stack, but you can do this with scissors either before or after cooking.

How to create a 3D model?

A volumetric model can be easily blinded according to a similar scheme, but we will analyze the option a little more difficult. We don't need cardboard, but colorless nail polish is useful if possible. Roll a ball about 2 to 3 cm high and flatten. The result is a pizza base. Do the same with a ball of a lighter shade, place it in a thin layer on top, as shown in the picture.

Make a thin sausage the same color as the base of the pizza and attach around the edge. Make a blank out of red plasticine, put white thin strips on it. Slice the sausage. Roll up green tubes for spices.

Make round small cakes from red plasticine and divide them in half. Draw on and place the tomatoes and sausage on the base. Add spices. Roll oval flat cakes from white plasticine, make 2 cuts on one side and put the mushrooms on top.

We add the texture to the sausage, roll the smallest balls of blue or black color, put them on the pizza. The resulting olives can be coated with colorless nail polish for plausibility. The sculpting is complete and the doll pizza can be divided.

In the next video, you are waiting for the modeling of plasticine pizza.
