How to mold a wolf from plasticine?
Modeling is an interesting activity that develops not only fine motor skills, but also the child's imagination. From plasticine, you can make a huge number of different objects, birds, animals, etc. In this article we will learn how to make a cute wolf from plastic material.
Tools and materials
It is not difficult to mold a beautiful plasticine wolf. A child of almost any age can cope with such an operation. To do this, you first need to prepare all the necessary materials and accessories:
- a sheet of paper, cardboard or oilcloth - all work is recommended to be carried out on such grounds so as not to stain furniture and tablecloths with greasy spots;
- a stack of plastic or wood - this tool is used specifically for working with small parts of a plasticine figure;
- plasticine pieces of white and black - from these materials it will be possible to make eyes and fangs for wolves.
If there is no gray plasticine bar in stock, then it can always be obtained by mixing colored residues. In this case, it is very important to mix them in such a way that the mass is homogeneous. You can use a toothpick instead of a regular stack. For some operations, a regular match or ballpoint pen is suitable.
When preparing all the necessary components, it must be borne in mind that it is not recommended to use sculptural clay for modeling "amateur" figures.
It will be very difficult for a child to mold a wolf or any other animal from such a mass, since this type of plasticine is distinguished by a high degree of rigidity.
Classic version
Young children are advised to use the simplest modeling schemes for plasticine figures.
Let's consider in stages how you can beautifully mold a wolf according to the classical scheme.
- At the first stage, a piece of gray plasticine will need to be divided into several parts. The segment with the largest dimensions will be further used to make the body of the wolf. The second largest particle will be the head of the figurine.
- Take the HEADBALL. A small piece should be detached from it, from which the ears and eyebrows of the wolf will be made. The rest of the plasticine mass is rolled out on one side to form the basis for the muzzle of an elongated structure.
- The elongated part of the wolf's face should be carefully cut with a wooden or plastic tool to make the mouth. After that, you can start attaching the eyes and nose.
- Now you need to make triangular ears and small white fangs... These components should be very carefully stuck to the head of the figurine, pressing on the base.
- From the largest plasticine ball, you need to form a sausage. It is this component that will serve as the basis for the body of the wolf.
- The made workpiece is slightly bent, and then a match is inserted into one of its ends. After that, the finished head of the wolf is planted on the latter.
- From a pair of plasticine balls, you need to make a little smaller sausages. Their top should be slightly flattened. These components must then be attached to the body of the wolf.
- The front legs are made in the same way, only they should be made more subtle and graceful.
- From the last remaining ball, roll out a sausage that does not have a clear shape... From this component, you will need to make a wolf's tail. To make it seem fluffy, you need to make small notches on its surface. At this stage, the creation of the classic plasticine figurine can be considered complete.
How to make from airy plasticine?
Air (or light) plasticine can quickly solidify. This material is very pleasant to work with, as it stretches easily, so there is no need to constantly knead it. True, light plasticine masses do not tolerate too slow work. Even the storage of such materials cannot be long enough.
A wolf can be molded from airy plasticine in approximately the same way as in the classic version. Of course, a young master can make some adjustments, decorations, and so on.
You can make many small lines on the entire body of a wolf, thanks to which an interesting imitation of wolf fur will be created.
If you make a figurine of a wolf from airy plasticine, then it will harden very quickly. After that, the craft can be displayed on an open shelf or table. It should be noted that the surface of such a plasticine figure will not accumulate dust particles on itself. This is due to the fact that light plasticine masses are not sticky.
Modeling with cones
Cool figurines of a wolf are obtained if you use not only plasticine, but also various natural materials. For example, it can be cones collected under different trees.
Let's consider step by step how you can easily make a beautiful craft using cones.
- First you need to make a wolf figurine. It is not necessary to choose gray for the base color. Black plasticine mass is also suitable.
- We sculpt 2 ears of a triangular shape, as well as an elongated detail - the nose of a wolf. In the mouth, the top should be longer than the bottom. The muzzle will turn out to be more interesting if you supplement it with a red tongue, as well as white overlays on the ears (this will be an imitation of fur).
- The most important part of the work follows.... All prepared components must be attached to the bump. A small child may not be able to cope with this step on his own.It makes sense for parents to make sure that all elements are not crooked.
- The next step is to make wolf eyes. They can be made from large and flat white circles, as well as smaller black circles attached to the top of them. The latter will play the role of pupils.
- You can complement the wolf's eyes with frowning eyebrows and a long mustache made of grass. The result is a funny wolf face with a warning grin.
- It remains to use the remnants of the plasticine mass of the selected color... It is necessary to blind oval front legs, a short wolf tail.
- When all the details are fixed on the body from the bump, you should make sure that the finished craft is stable.
The animal must sit upright, not topple over to one side.
A figurine from "Well, wait a minute!" do it yourself
To make such an interesting figure, you will need:
- plasticine bars of gray, purple, black, white, yellow and green;
- plastic or wooden stacks;
- toothpicks;
- a special sculpting board.
Consider a detailed instruction on how to mold a famous character from "Just you wait!" With your own hands.
- The appearance of a wolf can be done in absolutely any way... For example, this character looked very smart in black trousers and a festive jacket.
- To make the head of a wolf, you should take gray plasticine. Only the hands and paws of the animal will remain visible. To sculpt these components, you should also use a gray material.
- You need to prepare a gray ball and a small sausage. The latter must be sharpened at both ends, and also flattened along the entire length.
- Close the opposite ends. This will make it easier to make a long wolf nose. With your fingers, the plasticine should be pulled up. Cut the mouth with a stack.
- The ball and the oblong part must be fastened together. Above the nose, eyes made of black and white plasticine should be fixed. A black piece in the form of a large drop is attached to the nose.
- For wolf hair, you need to prepare a lot of thin black sausages. Insert half a toothpick into the bottom of the head.
- Small black details cling to the head chaotically and then press them down with a cobbled green beret.
- Blanks for a jacket are made from the purple mass: torso, sleeves, hem, sides. For the shirt, you need to make a thin cake.
- A hem is attached to the base bar... All excess should be cut off from it. A button is attached in front. A yellow cake, framed with purple sides, is glued to the top of the block. Sleeves are attached on the sides, complementing them with yellow cuffs. A pink bow tie is attached on top.
- Using a pair of toothpicks and dark plasticine, legs are made, made of plasticine rolled into tubes... Toothpicks are inserted into these components. Thus, the legs can be combined with the finished purple outfit.
- Gray wolf hands and paws should be attached. You can insert a sculpted bunch of flowers into your hands.
- At the final stage to the assembled figure attach the wolf's head... The craft is ready.
