Hair care is an integral part of the life of women, regardless of age. You can’t look fashionable and stylish if you don’t take care of their appearance. Without styling, with hair regrown after the last dyeing and split ends, the image of a slob will be created, and not a beauty that attracts the attention of men.

A well-worn haircut will be transformed if you take care of them and, succumbing to an impulse, dye your hair in a new way. They struggle with dullness and lack of shine, making coloring for light or dark hair.

The square will be transformed if you choose the right color and method of staining.

Specific traits

Coloring is a technique for dyeing hair using 2 or more shades of dye. "Wow-effect" will be obtained if you choose colors that are close or contrasting in relation to each other, but at the same time combined with each other. It doesn't matter how many tones of paint are used: two, five or ten, the young lady's appearance will be transformed.

Highlighting and coloring are different methods of dyeing hair. By making highlights, individual strands are lightened, and coloring involves dyeing them. It can be partial or complete with the use of persistent, toning or lightening curls formulations.

  1. Partial. A dye is applied to selected strands, the color of which is close to or contrasts with the natural one.
  2. Complete. The name speaks for itself, that is, they dye all hair using several dyes.

The chosen coloring method is influenced by the length of the hair, the color of the curls and what effect they want to achieve.

Advantages and disadvantages

Coloring saturates the hair with shine. Using several shades during the procedure, they achieve the effect of density and volume for the hair.The technique has other advantages as well.

Advantages:

  • haircut renewal;
  • face shape correction;
  • creation of original overflows;
  • conducting experiments with hair without changing their length (if 2-3 shades are used, the result is predictable, but if more, then not);
  • hair dyeing with a gentle method, since they take a little oxidant;
  • change of image;
  • refreshing and rejuvenating the face;
  • the ability to carry out the coloring procedure at any age;
  • a variety of coloring techniques.

Disadvantages:

  • the negative impact of coloring on the structure of the curls of brunettes and brown-haired women: they lighten their hair before the procedure;
  • high cost of the procedure;
  • daily hair styling;
  • daily hair care using special care products to maintain brightness and shine;
  • if you don't like the result of contrasting color coloring, you cannot return the previous shade of the hair;
  • a small selection of shades for black hair;
  • you can not do the procedure if the hair is damaged or weakened;
  • you can not do a perm before coloring;
  • you can not dye your hair if the girl is pregnant or breastfeeding;
  • do not colorize if the woman is depressed or stressed (otherwise the result will be upset).

Color matching

The process of choosing a new hair color is akin to shopping for new clothes, but still different from it. "Clothes" for the hair are chosen at random - without the opportunity to try on and "exchange" if the result is not pleasant.

Before the procedure, the hair is not lightened if the girl is blonde. She has the right to choose any shade from "warm" or "cold" colors and will not be mistaken. Brown-haired and brunettes are limited in their choice. In addition, in their case, it significantly affects what type of coloring they prefer: natural or creative. In the first case, shades of coffee with milk, honey, cognac or amber are chosen, and in the second, more saturated colors (blue, red, purple). When coloring light brown hair, use silver or ash shades. The bob on them looks tempting if individual strands are painted in golden or reddish color.

Varieties

Whichever coloring technique you choose, the result is a riot of colors. It is influenced by the idea of the hairdresser and the preferences of the woman. There are dozens of types of staining.

Complete

The entire mass of hair is dyed, completely replacing the natural color.

Partial

The natural color of the hair is left unchanged, choosing only a few strands for dyeing. They are often painted in a chaotic manner. In any case, the hairstyle looks more natural and suffers less from the use of dyes.

Zonal

This technique is similar to the previous one, except that before painting it is already known which zones will be transformed. Highlight the ends, back of the head, crown, temples or bangs, giving the bob a spicy and individual look.

Transverse

When doing horizontal coloring, take no more than three shades. The curls are divided into 3 wide stripes horizontally. One stripe is root, the other is middle, and the third is lower. Small strands are distinguished from each. The darkest stripe is the upper one (in brunettes and brown-haired women, the roots are not stained with transverse coloring: because of this, less paint is spent on staining).

When choosing a paint color, they adhere to the rule: the middle one should be lighter than the top one, and the bottom one should be lighter than the middle one.

Multicolor

Coloring is done using wide color spectra of contrasting colors. Before the procedure, the girl should have a clear understanding of what result she wants to get. Otherwise, the head will get "porridge".

Ombre

The square is divided into 2 zones horizontally. The first (at the roots) should be darker, and the second (at the tips) lighter. The transition between colors is made smooth. Sometimes they do exactly the opposite, that is, the roots are made light, and the ends are dark.

Sombre

With a sombre, the transition from light tones to dark ones (or vice versa) is not noticed, because when staining, the color is pulled vertically.

Microcolouring

Choose thin feather strands on the head and color them, creating sun glare or a shimmering effect.

Balayazh

The paint is applied with sweeping brush strokes and a V-shaped contour.

Bronding

Choosing this technique, they combine the brown shades of native or dyed hair with highlighted individual curls.

Pixel

Girls with sleek and well-groomed hair choose this technique to get creative with their haircut.

Neon

Individual curls on the head are painted in unnatural colors, choosing from shades of green, blue, orange, purple and other colors.

Asymmetrical

The colored areas on the head are randomly located. Their color is in harmony with or contrasts with the native hair color.

Stencil

For such coloring, stencils are needed. With their help, a pattern is obtained on the hair (tiger, leopard print, geometric patterns). If the girl has dark short hair, they take acidic or light shades (blond, ashy).

Home dyeing

Coloring is not done at home - hair is dyed in a hairdresser. The master will do everything in the best possible way, advising which colors are suitable and which are not. Longitudinal staining is done at home, calling on a friend or mother for help. This method is the simplest, and therefore it will not be difficult to dye individual hair strands:

  • mix several shades of paint in different containers;
  • arrange them in the right order;
  • choose a strand;
  • paint is applied to it and wrapped in foil;
  • do the same with others, but paint them in a different color;
  • withstand the dye on the hair (the holding time depends on the type of dye composition and the manufacturer);
  • wash off the paint;
  • apply a balm;
  • waiting for the hair to dry;
  • evaluate the result.

There is a little trick: the thinner the strand, the better the result looks.

Coloring is a technique that is chosen when a bob haircut is pleasant, but the soul requires variety. With its help, they will create an original hairstyle and emphasize their individuality. It is best not to dye your hair at home. The beauty salon will select a suitable technique for brown-eyed, blue-eyed, green-eyed girls with a bob hairstyle on light or dark hair.
