Children jumpsuits
Overalls - a kind of outerwearOne of the most comfortable wardrobe items, especially when it comes to children, which involves the combination of the outer part of the garment and the trousers.
Models and styles for boys and girls
There are many models of overalls:
- Full bodysuit - classic kids the variant is a full-fledged jacket, most often with a hood (the winter version can be trimmed with fur, natural or artificial) and long sleeves connected with long pants (with a closed foot for the smallest).
- Semi-overalls, also known as overalls - a model that involves the connection of trousers (from underpants to trousers with a closed foot) with a sleeveless bodice, with straps that are fastened with Velcro, buttons or buttons. The convenience of semi-overalls is easier care (it washes and dries faster), which is relevant for children's use, since it is the lower part of the overalls that gets dirty faster than the upper one. Several semi-overalls can be used for one jacket, which will allow the child to walk in the mode “some pants dry, others I walk”. Plus, overalls are cheaper than full overalls.
- Pajamas-jumpsuit for sleeping - as a rule, made of a soft, cozy knitted fabric, it can be either with sleeves or without sleeves, depending on the ambient temperature.
- Knitted jumpsuit - handmade or knitted on a knitting machine, it remains one of the most comfortable, stylish and beautiful models for a walk or at home.
- Jumpsuit-transformer - a great option for very young children, with a slight movement of the hand and a zipper located in the crotch seam, converting from a jumpsuit to an envelope and vice versa.Many models of overalls for very little ones are completed with mittens and booties, adjusted for better insulation with a drawstring on the belt.
- Jumpsuit "3 in 1" - a variation of the transformer overalls, complete with a fur liner.
- Jumpsuit - intended for older children, more or less consciously engaged in skiing, snowboarding, gymnastics or dancing.
- Jumpsuit raincoat - a lightweight version of the overalls, an irreplaceable thing designed to preserve the comfort of the child and the nerves of the parents, is usually made of waterproof or even rubberized fabric.
- Jumpsuits-costumes - funny animals, the role of which your baby plays, no matter what age (by the way, they are popular even among very adults). They are made of fluffy materials that imitate fur, usually with a hood that mimics the head of an animal, with ears, horns, etc. A tail can be sewn to the back of such a jumpsuit if it is expected to be present in the animal.
Views
The types of jumpsuits vary depending on the season when they are supposed to be worn:
- Rompers - can be either full (long sleeves, long pants, possibly a hood), or shortened (short or missing sleeves, short pants (up to panties), or semi-overalls (complete with a T-shirt, T-shirt, shirt).
- Warm winter overalls can also be full or semi-overalls. For the smallest, variants of the transformer and 3 in 1 are possible. Natural or artificial heaters are used as insulation.
- Demi-season jumpsuit, as a rule, also either full or overalls-pants. It can be insulated or waterproof.
For newborns
Do not forget that the main tasks of newborns are to eat, sleep and gain strength. For this purpose, full overalls made of soft jersey with a closed foot, long sleeves (also sometimes with a closed tassel) with a fastener on the shoulder seams, or sliders - semi-overalls, consisting of a set of long pants with a closed foot with straps and undershirts, are most suitable. Unlike the sliders of the last century, modern models are equipped with a fastener located in the crotch seam for a convenient and quick change of diapers.
To walk in the fresh air, your baby will need a comfortable warm overalls:
- Envelope - once such a model was carried out in the version of a rectangle with a hood that really resembled an envelope. The modern envelope-overalls are sewn with sleeves and a hood.
- Jumpsuit-transformer - a great option for babies who not only do not help their parents to dress themselves, but also resist attempts to do it. Naturally, in this case, it is much easier to place the child in an envelope that will not restrict his movements and where he will be comfortable and warm.
- 3-in-1 model - allows, at your request and depending on the seasonality and weather conditions, to make your baby's overalls lightweight or insulated.
Insulation
Heaters for baby overalls are divided into three types:
Natural:
- brushed cotton;
- sheepskin (full, plucked or sheared);
- wool (llama, cashmere, angora, mohair);
- down (duck, goose, eider).
Artificial:
- fleece is a synthetic knitted fabric, the main advantages of which are lightness, good breathability, elasticity, ease of care, hypoallergenicity;
- synthetic winterizer - an inexpensive insulation that has more disadvantages than advantages;
- holofiber - an improved version of padding polyester, differs from it in lower weight and greater durability;
- isosoft - improved holofiber;
- thinsulate - an artificial analogue of swan's down, volumetric, lightweight, hypoallergenic;
- thermofin - highly crimped hollow fiber; lightweight, resistant to low temperatures and designed specifically for Russia;
- Shelter kids - insulation, developed specifically for the manufacture of children's outerwear, is a thermally bonded high-volume nonwoven fabrics.
Combined
- a unique development of Austrian scientists, involving a combination of microfiber and natural wool of merino sheep; providing the combined lightness of synthetic insulation and the excellent thermal insulation properties of natural.
The indisputable advantages of heaters made from natural materials include high thermal insulation properties and environmental friendliness. However, not all of them can guarantee the absence of allergic reactions in children; caring for them requires some effort. Besides, as a rule, they are distinguished by their high cost.
The advantages of artificial insulation are much lighter weight compared to natural, homogeneous structure, lack of bulkiness in models, relatively affordable price.
Material
A variety of materials for making overalls for girls and boys will satisfy requests for every taste and wallet:
- jersey;
- cotton;
- viscose;
- fabrics with the addition of elastane;
- fleece;
- wool;
- jeans;
- velours;
- velveteen;
- plush;
- velvet;
- fur;
- bologna fabric, raincoat fabric;
- membrane;
- polyarctic cotton.
If we are talking about the material of the top for winter models of overalls, then even if parents are fans of everything natural, it is better for them to take a closer look at fabrics with impregnation, since they have high wind-moisture and dirt-resistant properties, which is so important when it comes to children's clothes.
Color and print
Bright colors and beautiful prints are suitable for children:
- traditional pastel colors of blue and pink - for newborn boys and girls;
- light colors, including white, are very impractical, but for a very young child who cannot walk and who is still in a stroller outside all the time - why not?
- all shades of red, yellow, green - for older kids who are already learning to distinguish colors;
- funny delicate or bright prints - for children of any age, moreover, older children will clearly be able to express their desire to have clothes with specific prints that they like: cars, bears, dolls, stars.
