The Finnish brand Reima, known all over the world, specializes in the production of children's clothing. Overalls of this brand are in great demand in the Russian consumer environment.

Characteristics

The production of children's clothing is continuously monitored at all stages: all samples and individual parts are thoroughly tested until their appearance, quality and functionality reach the ideal level. As a result, Reima products have a number of positive characteristics.

Overalls of this brand are waterproof: your baby will not get wet even in the slushiest weather. This effect is provided by a special technology of welding with a seam using a laser. And the multilayer system of clothing does not allow moisture to get inside.

A separate line of clothing Reima (for active walks) is made of a special membrane material, along the perimeter of which the smallest pores are located: through them particles of steam and moisture are removed to the outside. The fabric allows the baby's skin to breathe. Thus, the baby, even during active rest, will always remain dry.

All overalls of the Finnish brand are extremely lightweight, but despite this, the winter model has a very high heat resistance. The kid is guaranteed not to freeze even at 20 degrees below zero, and you do not have to wrap him up in multi-layer clothes. It is enough to put on thermal underwear and a sweatshirt, for example, made of fleece.

Reima outerwear for children is made of a very durable fabric, it is not so easy to tear, and the presentable look of things will not be lost even with frequent washing. In addition, there are no internal seams in the legs, which also increases the wear resistance of the products.

The material of the overalls, among other things, also has dirt-repellent properties, which, again, is very convenient for mothers - it reduces the number of washes of the product.

Children's overalls are distinguished by a large assortment of styles and colors - each mother can choose an option to her taste.

Reima clothes are extremely safe for the child - there is no fittings that could cause him discomfort (there are no internal lines, the zipper has a special treatment, there are protective elements on the collar and hood).

Thermal processes are regulated thanks to detachable parts, clamps. In addition, on the surface of the overalls there are reflective details that are relevant today: you will not lose your baby even with poor visibility on the street.

Models

Reima overalls are presented in a wide range of models. First of all, these are products of two types: warm winter versions and autumn-spring models.

In addition, there are demi-season overalls that can be easily transformed due to the detachable lining.

A separate line of clothing is overalls for newborns. You can buy a convertible jumpsuit (the so-called "bag" is converted to a traditional model using zippers) or an envelope jumpsuit. The envelope is a one-piece model with sleeves and a hood; the baby does not need booties or other shoes.

For older children, a convenient option is a semi-overalls - a set consisting of a jacket and pants with a bib with straps.

A special model is the Reima jumpsuit with a fur bottom. These are clothes that have a special insulated seat. The faux fur inlay keeps your baby warm and protects your little one from the cold as they sit in the snow.

At the same time, such insulation does not hinder movement: the child can actively play, often change poses. In autumn overalls, the lower part is also supplemented with a material with enhanced water-repellent properties. Note that the visually overlay does not stand out at all.

Regular Reima overalls are designed mainly for relaxing walks. If you need an option for active games in the snow and even in the rain, then the ideal choice is the Reima tec line, created using modern membrane technologies.

The Reima tec fabric is equipped with a thin polyamide film with micropores from the inside. It removes vapors and at the same time ensures efficient air exchange. Even the most restless child in such a jumpsuit will not be sweaty.

The porous structure, like a raincoat, repels moisture and dirt, so the clothes will not get wet, and also perfectly protect the baby from the wind.

However, for the membrane to work, the principle of layering must be observed: the child must first put on cotton underwear, then the fleece middle layer and then the jumpsuit itself.

Material

As for the autumn-spring models, windproof polyester or Oxford fabric - double weave nylon acts as an outer fabric. These materials have a special impregnation, which makes the overalls waterproof and dirt-repellent. So, the models of the Reima tec and Lassie Rainproof lines protect against moisture 6 times better than a traditional raincoat. Fleece, wool and isosoft are used to insulate autumn-spring overalls.

The Finnish brand produces winter overalls mainly with down insulation. As you know, today synthetic fillers (isosoft, holofiber, etc.) are replacing fluff. However, many parents still prefer natural raw materials. The lining of the Reima winter overalls consists of a mixture of down and feathers (70% and 30%, respectively).

Usually duck or goose down is used. A down jumpsuit weighs, of course, more than an analogue with a synthetic filler, therefore such options are intended mainly for calm everyday wear. The top of winter clothing is made of nylon or polyamide, impregnated with a special compound. In the Reima tec line, as mentioned above, membrane fabrics are used.

A separate class of clothing is overalls for children from birth to one year old. These products differ in the materials used. This does not require a material with high water resistance: after all, the baby will not walk in the rain or wallow in snowdrifts. Overalls for newborns should, first of all, perfectly protect from the cold, because the baby himself cannot prevent hypothermia by active movement. It is for this reason that these models of overalls are insulated from natural down, sheepskin or fur. Thanks to modern technologies, Reima tries to lighten the weight of overalls for newborns as much as possible.

Color and print

The beautiful appearance of Reima jumpsuits is ensured by the use of various bright colors (as well as their combinations) and an original print.

Overalls of rich red, blue, pink, purple colors will delight mom and baby. The options for boys and girls are traditionally distinguished by their characteristic shades. This also applies to hospital discharge envelopes. Recently, however, there has been a trend towards unisex models made in neutral colors (gray, brown, green).

In Finnish models, the combination of black and red looks interesting. The brand has quite common striped models, mainly for boys. The striped print allows for effective color combinations and visually thicken the silhouette.

Also popular are patterns of hearts and snowflakes for girls, abstract complex patterns, chaotically directed lines. In addition to color schemes, jumpsuits for children can be decorated with various applications.

How to care?

  1. In general, Reima children's overalls do not require any special care that requires a lot of effort and time. The clothes are made of water-repellent material, so sometimes it is enough to wipe it with a damp cloth. The thing can be machine washed with ordinary detergents, you do not need to soak it first. Just do not use bleach or fabric softener; they can negatively affect the properties of the fabric. Before washing, it is advisable to turn the jumpsuit inside out, having previously zipped all the zippers. You can dry the product at room temperature, they dry quickly enough.
  2. The surface of Reima tec fabric contains a special agent that repels water and dirt, and with frequent washing, it can partially lose its properties. They can be restored with an aerosol (silicone-free) available in stores.
  3. To get rid of stubborn stains on your overalls, you can use a stain remover (not acetone or nail polish remover). Just apply it directly to the stain, as these products can be very strong and discolor the material.
  4. Reima coveralls are made of durable fabric, so they can be dried in a centrifuge. But it is better to verify this by reading the information on the label.

Reviews

In general, the customers are very satisfied with the Reima products. Many children love to sit in a sandpit or snowdrifts, so a jumpsuit, in which the back is always closed, is an ideal solution, especially a model with a fur booty helps out. Mothers are surprised to admit that Finnish products really do not get wet, even when walking in the rain and mud. In addition, the absence of dirty stains pleases.

Parents, whose children have already grown out of overalls, are planning to buy the next model of the same brand, since there are definitely no complaints about the quality.

For young mothers who have so many worries, it is extremely pleasing that Finnish clothes do not need to be washed often (except for time, they save expensive detergents).

Reima overalls are lightweight, pleasant to the touch, and, according to parents, have a pleasant, cheerful color scheme. Moms also notice very high quality seams.

A big plus of Finnish children's products is the presence of reflective elements. Kids with them look like a star in the dark.

The most important thing is that according to the observations of mothers, Reima overalls are liked by the children themselves: they wear them with pleasure, do not be capricious.

The only negative, according to buyers' estimates, is, of course, the high price of the products. But you always have to pay more for high quality.
