Cats, without a doubt, occupy a leading position among pets. Persian white cats won the special love of breeders. A pet with snow-white fur and expressive eyes will become an adornment and pride of any home. Despite their rather capricious behavior, the Persians are very friendly and get along well with all the household.

Description of the breed

According to historical information, the Persian cat first appeared in Europe several millennia ago. It was brought from the Persian province by the famous Italian traveler Pietro della Valle. He was amazed at the amazing appearance of the animal. Subsequently, the Persians appeared in France and instantly won the love of its inhabitants.

Nowadays, Russian breeders are increasingly making a choice in favor of this amazing breed.

Adorable pets have distinctive features. These include the following features of the breed.

  1. Squat body with miniature legs.
  2. Wide chest and shoulders.
  3. The head is large with neat ears.
  4. Massive neck of medium length.
  5. Thick coat (up to 12 cm long). Soft and silky to the touch.
  6. The shape of the muzzle is flattened, with expressive eyes and a wide pink nose.
  7. Strong jaw with sharp teeth.

As for character, then Persians are "completely" domestic cats. They are very affectionate and calm enough. In addition, they are ideal “friends” for children, as they are not afraid of them and are happy to make contact with small household members. Note that the representatives of this breed are quite curious, so they are constantly researching something and looking for new toys. Persian cats are gentle and sympathetic pets who "faithfully" serve their breeders throughout their lives.

Note that the Persians are "silent" and do not emit a large number of sounds. If the pet wants to attract the attention of the owner, then he begins to spin around him and look ingratiatingly into the eyes.

    White color

In the classic version, snow-white Persian cats are blue-eyed, but there are individuals with brown (orange) eyes. In addition, unusual pets with eyes of different colors are born. It is this breed that is characterized by heterochromia, which is a kind of "highlight" of the animal. White Persians have a long, thick coat. The color should be free of impurities and extraneous shades.

An interesting observation is noted by breeders: white Persian kittens are born with a speck on their head (black, red or beige), which disappears as they grow older.

According to experts, the Persian white variety with blue eyes can be deaf or blind from birth. Veterinarians advise pairing such individuals to select a healthy animal. Thus, the risk of inferior offspring is reduced.

    Features of the content

Naturally, white Persian kittens require careful grooming. Particular attention is paid to the eyes. This breed is a "crybaby" because of the physiological characteristics, therefore, eye care begins from the age of two months of the pet. They are wiped every day with dry sterile gauze. If the discharge is abundant, then special drops will help the animal. Since kittens are fluffy, hairs can get caught in their eyes and cause irritation. The owner must remove the foreign object in time and rinse the pet's eyes.

White Persian cats require regular washing and brushing. The kitten is taught to water procedures from the very first day of its appearance in the house. The snow-white pet is bathed once every 14 days using special shampoos and conditioners. After the procedure, the "fluffy" is wrapped in a soft towel, and after a few minutes they begin to gently comb the coat. It can be pre-coated with a softening spray, which will facilitate the process.

The cat is combed every day, as long hair can get tangled and there is a risk of tangling.

In the arsenal of a Persian breeder, there must be metal combs and volumetric brushes with a hard bristle.

The diet of Persian kittens should be balanced and portioned. Pets enjoy themselves twice a day. Experts advise breeders to combine quality nutrition with homemade food. The diet of the Persians must contain a large amount of proteins found in meat, fish and eggs. In order for the pet's coat to be always shiny and silky, the owner must add to food mineral and vitamin complexes.

Dry food for Persian cats must be purchased in pet stores only from a trusted manufacturer.

For pets of a snow-white color, a clean tray with a natural filler is important, which does not stick to the paws and does not stain them.
