• Marble scots can have a variety of colors, but at the same time contrasting stains of a different shade pass through their body. Fire cats boast a rich red coat that forms stripes and patterns on a lighter background.

• Blue scots have a gray coat of a cold shade. The stripes on it are dark.

• Brown specimens have beige fur with black stripes. In cream representatives, the coat has a peach tint, the stripes on which are slightly darker, but not too conspicuous. Silver tabbies are characterized by black stripes on the base color that blend into spots. The presence of a white color indicates that the gene responsible for the color is absent.

Scottish Fold Tabby cats, like other representatives of this breed, have a calm and docile disposition. They are distinguished by perseverance, they are able to spend a long time in their arms or next to the owner.

Scots are kind and very affectionate... At a tender age, they are playful and, like any kids, are curious. Balance and calmness come with age.

Experts believe that in the nature of these cats there are few habits from dogs. They are drawn to people, but often choose a beloved master, to whom they become especially attached. However, the Scots cannot be called intrusive, even with their inherent desire for affection and warmth.

Scottish Folds are distinguished by their cleanliness. Their calm disposition does not allow them to make small dirty tricks out of revenge, and puddles on the floor will not pursue the owner. In addition, animals are highly intelligent and easy to train.

The voice of the Scots should also be noted. These cats can be heard on very rare occasions. As a rule, meowing indicates that the animal is hungry or needs help. Despite the rather powerful torso, these pets are very graceful and move quietly and elegantly.

These cats are very affectionate, it is a pleasure to watch them. In addition, they have some habits that are not typical of the feline family. For example, an animal will easily stand on its hind legs if it needs to consider something, and will also be happy to sleep lying on its back.

The Scottish Fold Tabby cat is loyal to other pets, but does not need to communicate with them. However, it is still not recommended to keep rodents, as they can be harmed by these furry hunters. These pets are the favorites of children, as they are affectionate and love to play, and besides, they are very patient.

With all the advantages of these animals, it would be wrong not to mention their shortcomings. These cats are very attached to the owner, on the basis of which they may have a conflict with the dogs. At the same time, the Scots will not behave too aggressively, trying to leave as carefully as possible. In addition, some consider these cats to be lazy and prone to selfishness.
