Indola hair dyes: color palette and subtleties of use
Any woman from time to time changes something in her appearance. The least costly methods can be safely attributed to changing the color or shade of hair using paint. The professional and familiar Indola paint from the German company Schwarzkopf is best suited for this transformation.
Peculiarities
What are the features and advantages of using this tool. Why exactly this paint can cope with the task better than others? It's no secret that almost any paint contains ammonia. As you know, its excessive content has a negative effect on the structure of each hair, brittleness and dryness are provided to them.
Indola hair dye contains a small amount of this completely harmless substance, so its effect is minimized.
As a protection, polymers are present in the composition of Indola paints. Their beneficial effect is to strengthen the structure of each hair. Thanks to the deep penetration of polymers, the hair becomes not only strong, but also soft, elastic, with an excellent healthy shine. The color saturation during coloring is provided by the pigments that are part of the paint. Due to their microscopic size, they easily penetrate into the shaft of each hair, thereby providing a rich, bright shade to the hair.
It should also be noted that the color obtained as a result of staining does not wash out and does not fade for quite a long time. This became possible not only due to deep penetration, but also due to the retention of pigment particles inside the hair shaft.
Among the advantages of Indola paint, it is certainly worth noting the widest color palette.About 100 of the most diverse shades allow even the most discerning customer to purchase paint with the color nuance she needs. In addition, the manufacturers also took into account the possibility of mixing paints of different colors, which makes it possible for every woman to experiment with several shades.
Indola paint is easy to use. Its creamy texture makes it easy to mix and apply to hair. After the specified time has elapsed, the ideal shade is guaranteed even for gray hair. An important question when buying hair dye is: which dye to prefer (expensive or cheap) or is it better to stay on a product of the middle price category?
Indola paint in this sense refers to the golden mean. It's not cheap, but its price tag isn't high enough to make a dent in even the most modest budget. Absolutely, every woman can afford to buy this cosmetic product.
Overview of paints
To understand which type of Indola paint is right for you, you need to know which lines are produced under this brand. Subdivision on the line is due to the presence or absence of such a component as ammonia. The Profession Permanent Caring Color line is specially designed to obtain a bright, rich hair color. If you want to change your color or make it 2-3 tones lighter, then Profession Permanent Caring Color is best suited for this task. For gray, dense hair types, the Professional line is the most preferable, since it is ammonia that deeply opens the hair scales and allows the pigment to penetrate inside. And the additional components that make up the paints of this line keep the pigments inside the core for a long time.
Indola Zero AMM Color ammonia-free dyes are designed to give hair a light shade. The absence of ammonia does not mean at all that the resulting color will be washed off after the first shampooing. They contain monoethanolamine, which, like ammonia, reveals scales, but acts more gently, so the shade on the hair is slightly less bright. Both lines, marketed under the Indola brand, are used in conjunction with oxidizing agents. It is they that allow the desired shade to appear on the hair. For the Zero AMM Color line, it is sufficient to use 2% oxide, and for the Profession Permanent, as a rule, 6%, 9% and 12% developers are required.
Color palette
The most diverse range of shades is presented in the Profession Permanent Caring Color line. For the convenience of quickly finding the desired shade, it is divided into groups.
- To give your hair its natural natural tones, use colors from the Naturals & Essentials group. This direction is the richest in the number of shades, there are 52 of them, so even the most demanding lady can choose the right one.
- Slightly fewer shades in the Fashion & Red group, there are only 33 of them. This direction is developed for grouping red and copper tones.
- The third group Blond Expert contains shades for blondes, of which 7 are used for lightening, and 6 for toning.
- For the daring and daring, bright and extraordinary tones are collected in the Contrast group. With the help of paints of this group, you can select both individual strands, make an amber, or completely color your hair. For convenience, all shades of this line are produced under numbers, each number, as a rule, consists of 2-3 digits. The first is the number indicating the degree of saturation, the second is the number indicating the primary hue, and the third number is the secondary hue.
Marking "0" is interpreted as the absence of tone in a given type of paint, or when its shade refers to the natural palette. Shades belonging to the Blond Expert Highlift group, lightening the original color up to 4-5 tones, are labeled 1000, after the dot there are also numbers (1000.03 - natural golden blonde, 1000.0 - natural blonde).
The black color is marked with the number "1". Colors that have brown shades, depending on the degree of tone, are designated "3", "4" and "5". Light blond and light blond shades are marked "6" and "7", respectively.Under the indicated on the packaging "8", "9" "10" are light shades. Secondary shades are also numbered. For an ash shade - "1", pearl is marked with "2", golden "3", copper "4", mahogany "5", red "6", purple "7", chocolate "8", and the shade with a matte effect is marked the number "9".
In addition to the number designation, the paint box contains designations in the form of letters. For the Indola Blond Expert Pastel group of paints, there is a letter "P" in front of the numbers and a dot (P. 01 - natural ash pastel, P. 31 - golden ash pastel).
The Contrast group is marked with the letter "C" located in front of the point.
The Indola Zero AMM Color line of paints without ammonia has a smaller number of shades (about 30). The paint of this line is used, as a rule, to obtain a natural tone. The spread in intensity is practically the same as in other groups from the darkest "1" to the very light "9".
Indola mixons are used in conjunction with basic colorants and are designed to add shade to the selected color. They are marked similarly to paints. Today there are only 5 of them: ashy (0.11), mother-of-pearl (0.22), golden (0.33), copper (0.44), red (0.66).
Instructions for use
In order not to be disappointed with the result, in addition to the desired shade or two, it is necessary to choose the right oxidizer with the required concentration.
For intense lightening, it is best to use a 9% or 12% oxidizer. It is necessary to mix in a 2: 1 ratio, that is, you need 2 times more developer.
To lighten two tones, you can use 9% oxide, which can be mixed in a 1: 1 ratio.
For dark saturated tones, it is enough to use 6% oxide, which can be mixed in equal parts with a dye. This concentration of oxide is also suitable for dyeing gray hair. If you need to change the hair color by only 1 tone, you should purchase a 6% oxidizer and mix to the required amount, depending on the length and thickness of the hair, with a 1: 1 dye.
Weak, thin and brittle hair requires a more gentle approach, so it is better to use 2% oxide, which is mixed with the dye in equal parts. It must be remembered that dye and oxide can only be mixed in a suitable container. Glass or silicone dishes are best suited for this process. When mixing, always use gloves, and use a special brush as a tool. You can use a greasy cream along the hairline to protect against the coloring matter of the skin. The film formed on the surface of the skin will not allow the dye to penetrate into the pores, which means that you will not have to wipe it off after staining.
In order to avoid such a nuisance as a rash or redness, a test is necessary. The prepared composition is applied to the inner part of the elbow bend, if after half an hour of exposure and subsequent observation (36-48 hours) there is no reaction (redness or burning), then this paint can be safely used.
You should not use this composition to change the color of eyebrows and eyelashes, the presence of some components can cause a severe burn of the cornea, therefore, even with the slightest contact with the coloring composition in the eyes, it is necessary to rinse them with plenty of water as soon as possible.
Apply the composition to dry hair. If the tone is used for the first time, then you need to apply the paint over the entire length of the hair, stepping back 2-3 cm from the roots, after a 10-minute exposure, the paint is distributed to the roots. When re-staining, the composition is applied immediately to the root area, being careful not to touch the rest. For tinting the roots, 25-30 minutes are enough, after which the remaining composition is distributed over the entire length and left to act for 5-10 minutes. The total exposure time, as a rule, does not exceed 40 minutes.
You should not dye your hair with this paint if it was previously tinted with henna or basma. In this case, it is better to contact a professional hairdresser for a recommendation. After the completion of the procedure, the paint must be washed off only with warm water in order to exclude leaching of the pigment. In order for the dye to stay on the hair as long as possible, after the first dyeing, it is advisable not to wash your hair for 3-4 days. As care products for colored hair, it is best to use specialized masks and balms produced under the Indola brand.
