How to make a remedy at home?

It was already noted above that the purchased oil due to disruption of production processes can provoke unpleasant consequences, for example, cause an allergic reaction or itching on the skin. Therefore, for complete confidence in the quality of the product, it is recommended to prepare the oil yourself. Moreover, it is not difficult at all.

Steam method

We need the greens of the plant, collected during the flowering period - 1 kg.

Cooking.

  • Thoroughly wash the raw materials, dry them, chop the herbs into small pieces.

  • We put the workpiece in a glass container and fill it with water so that all the contents are hidden.

  • We close the container with a lid and cut a hole in the lid through which we insert a thin tube. We seal the area of contact between the lid and the tube.

  • The end of the tube, which is exposed outside, is lowered into an empty bottle. Place the bottle itself in a glass half filled with ice cubes.

  • We put the jar, where the geranium is located, in a water bath. Oil drops will appear in the bottle as the plant warms up.

This method is effective, but its main disadvantage is the insignificant amount of the product obtained. In this case, you will need to spend a lot of plants. Usually 10 kg of a plant produces 10 ml of ether. The infusion method is considered more convenient.

Infusion method

We need:

  • flowers and leaves of a plant - 200 g;

  • alcohol - 250 ml;

  • olive oil 50 ml.

Cooking.

Cut greens and flowers into small pieces. It is generally recommended to choose the rougher variety, as it produces more finished product.

  • Fill the crushed plant with alcohol, ordinary vodka will do.

  • We tightly close the container with a lid and place it for 14 days on the section of the window where the direct rays of the sun fall.

  • Add olive oil to the container and leave for another 14 days. You can use almond or peach oil instead of olive oil.
