Dimout - what is it and how to do it?

Many girls often want to change their image - to make it more lively and expressive. To do this, they resort to different methods, but the most basic of them is hair coloring. However, after staining, they are faced with a new problem - regrown roots, which can be removed using a procedure such as dimout.

As mentioned earlier, dimout is a completely new procedure, with the help of which regrown roots are eliminated or specially darkened in order to give the hair a special look. It happens like this: the stylist paints the root zone of the hair in a darker color than the main one. Thus, the hair looks more well-groomed and neat.

The painting technique entirely depends on the chosen color and type of painting. It does not differ in increased complexity and consists of very simple actions.

1. The first step is to choose the desired shade. It is very important to choose it correctly, because the further type of hairstyle will depend on it.
2. Then you can separate the strands from each other and start painting the roots. Apply, blending towards the main length of the hair, without touching them at the same time. In the case of selecting fragment shading, only the selected area should be painted.

There are different types of dimout for individual parts of the head.

• The effect of regrown roots. This is the simplest and most basic method. It involves staining the root zone. The closest shade to the main one is selected as a color, however, it should be somewhat darker.
• Ash staining. This type is most suitable for blondes and girls with extremely blond hair. The whole process consists of painting the roots with ash paint. Very interesting and sophisticated transitions can be achieved with this method.
• Fragment darkening. In this case, any part of the head can be dyed, for example, the bangs or the back of the head.

For brunettes, such a procedure is categorically not suitable, since it is pointless to dye their roots in a dark color - it will not work here to create an interesting image.

For other colors, dimout is completely acceptable, especially for blondes. The transition from dark roots to blonde hair will make the hairstyle voluminous and unique.

As for the length of the hair, difficulties can arise when working with short hair. Here you need to be extremely careful and careful, gradually reducing the staining area. This is necessary to create a smooth transition so the hair looks more beautiful.
