Eggplant color kitchens

The interior of the kitchen is usually decorated with white paint or several light tones and shades. There are also brighter colors. However, sometimes it makes sense to consider a more original solution - an eggplant-colored kitchen.

This color is considered ambiguous and is distinguished by its external versatility, unpredictability. In an eggplant-colored kitchen, you can embody both a pacifying and energetic image. To make the interior look more stable and calmer, not to be too unbalanced, white color is introduced into the atmosphere.

Monochromatic glossy options for eggplant coloring are appropriate in a modern style. If the room is decorated in the spirit of the classics, it is advised to use matte tints. In this case, a white tone should be used for:

• countertops;
• apron zones;
• finishing the ceiling and other walls.

But if eggplant with white furniture is used, painting the walls in a purple tone is quite acceptable. Wallpaper can be striped or covered with a medium-sized pattern. When this option is not suitable, it is worth choosing solutions that are monotonous (for the wall) or decorated with large details (for the dining corner).

Sometimes the purple color of the walls in the kitchen with eggplant furniture is also reproduced in the apron of the working area. If a white headset is used surrounded by an eggplant finish, it is advised to use in the composition:

• dark lilac acrylic decorative panel;

To create a more dramatic and coherent interior, it is advised to use the color of eggplant as bright color accents. They can be very diverse:

• decorative figurines;
• separate sections of the walls.

In an eggplant-colored kitchen, this solution can also be practiced: a combination of a dark bottom with a white gloss top. In this case, the dark lower part is the stylistic basis of the composition.

If you make compositions that are uniform in importance, you can create an excessive visual preponderance of the darker part. Another secret of a successful interior in an eggplant-colored kitchen: furniture should create a stronger impression than walls and decor.

The use of eggplant-colored wallpaper deserves attention. This decision will definitely not be trivial; according to a number of people, it is even a little strange.

It is very difficult to work with the color of eggplant, but it will definitely look original and deep. A good move is to paste wallpaper in several shades of the main color at once. Then you get a consistent gamut without any problems.

It is recommended to add white linens to eggplant wallpaper. You can use eggplant for accent walls and paint other surfaces white.

Too much eggplant tone cannot be used in the kitchen. Otherwise, it can undermine your appetite. If you use an eggplant-colored kitchen set, it must be supplemented with lighting. This solution will immediately make the kitchen more voluminous and will increase the color saturation.

The basic color can be used on both glossy and matte surfaces. Eggplant color can be combined with wood countertops, with chipboard imitating veneer. In a retro setting, it is appropriate to add warm woody tones. The warm / cold contrast looks very good. An optimal palette, other than eggplant, may include:

• soft gray;
• dark khaki;
• gray olive;
• pale lilac;
• lilac-lilac colors.

If the kitchen is designed in an emphatically masculine way, one should strive to combine restrained and discreet tones. They must embody the spirit of determination and elegance. A slightly softer version implies a combination of beige-eggplant, gray-beige shades, to which a soft green paint is added.

Additionally, it is advised to use:

• sepia;
• warm green;
• beige gray;
• warm gray colors.

When the thought of the sea is emphasized, in addition to the eggplant tone, you can apply:

• light gray;
• gray-black;
• rich white;
• orchid coloring;
• coloring wet asphalt.

The combination of vanilla color with eggplant and burgundy will immediately add luxury to the room. Such combinations will look pretty in the glossy version. However, patina is also a good solution. The interlacing of eggplant and gray tone is quite appropriate, however, dark gray additives are contraindicated. Because of them, a crushing effect can occur.

When using a black and eggplant scale, black tones should account for about 30% of the entire room maximum. Better yet, black is only used locally. For additional softening, beige and white additives can be used. But in general, any recommendations should be accepted only when they are liked.
