The diameter of a round table usually ranges from 110 to 170 centimeters. But, the more the number of inhabitants of the apartment, the larger the figure may turn out to be.

Materials (edit)

Materials for making tables on one leg can be both cheap and very expensive. The budget options include options made of MDF and chipboard, as well as plastic. Plastic is absolutely not afraid of water, which is a rather significant advantage, but it does not differ in aesthetic appeal. Chipboard and non-toxic MDF must be pre-treated with a protective compound, and also protected from hot dishes and moisture. However, the strength of these materials is satisfactory and they look quite nice.

Experts do not recommend purchasing veneer for the countertop, since, despite its attractive appearance, it breaks down very quickly in the difficult conditions of the kitchen.

Expensive materials for making a table on one leg include glass and wood. Both options are quite capricious and require increased maintenance. However, they always look spectacular, and the wood, in addition, is distinguished by its increased strength. For the dining area, it is customary to use only tempered glass, which is more reliable. The leg is usually made of iron, since less durable material can cause the table top to fall and break.

Color spectrum
