Recently, a new trend has emerged - neon makeup. He is quite young, so far known only to makeup artists, popular beauty bloggers and narrow circles, and the bulk of women have yet to find out his features.

Neon, or ultraviolet, makeup is recognized as the most defiant and bright make-up. This version of the make-up has already managed to fall in love with the regulars of nightclubs, organizers of parties, various shows and, of course, photo sessions.

But, despite the popularity of unusual cosmetics, it is produced very little and only by some brands. Remarkably, eminent manufacturers do not plan to release products with neon. So, mini-brands or companies dealing with professional cosmetics for make-up are engaged in the manufacture of such space cosmetics.

• What kind of cosmetics is neon?... The first place is, of course, face painting. It is a water-soluble pigment. It is with them that children's faces are painted at the holidays. Some makeup artists also use it to achieve brighter makeup. A significant disadvantage of face painting is flushing from sweat and water. A significant plus is low cost. Next are shadows, lipsticks and eyeliners. And if you're lucky, you can also find neon sparkles.
• Does everything neon glow under ultraviolet light?... Absolutely not. And this information is usually placed by the manufacturer on the product packaging or sometimes on the website.

First of all, you need to take into account some of the nuances:

• watercolor neon paints and shadows are difficult to blend, and experience and skill are needed for even application;
• it is advisable to choose dark-colored synthetic brushes for applying cosmetics, since the pigment is strongly eaten into accessories;
• ultraviolet light exposes everything, even the smallest irregularities and make-up defects, therefore it is recommended to correct makeup in front of a neon lamp;
• for a perfect result, you will need a rigid face shaping with dark (black or brown) tones.

So, to create neon makeup you will need:

1. moisturizing makeup base;
2. dense foundation and / or modeling kit;
3. powder to create a scattering effect;
4. regular cosmetic dark shadows and pencils;
5. cosmetics with fluorescent pigments;
6. mascara or false eyelashes, which can also be coated with pigment;
7. neon lamp (if possible);
8. sponges, brushes with synthetic bristles.

The most popular neon make-up is the graphic one. It implies minimalistic eye makeup with clear lines, symmetry or asymmetry of shapes, and a harmonious color composition.

Useful tips when choosing a shade:

• the leading ones are considered to be violet and blue tones;
• make-up acquires special expressiveness with orange and yellow colors, both pink and light green shades will cope well with this;
• to "revitalize" the make-up it is best to use cubism and plane geometry; avant-garde arrows, a clear contour of the lips, regardless of the shape, will help to achieve this.

Eye makeup options.

• Black and neon. Here you can dilute the acidic neon shadows with black arrows (ideally double) or a shaded eyeliner. An ultraviolet eyeliner on dark pigmented shadows will look no less impressive.
• Ultraviolet splash. A base is applied, which is covered with neon pigment. The neon product is sprayed on top, slightly diluted with water, using a stiff brush (for example, a toothbrush).
• Thin contour and glowing lashes. Here you can dream up. The eyebrows are contoured with a thin contour of fluorescent cosmetics. And thin arrows are drawn along the growth line of the cilia. The eyelashes themselves can be painted with mascara, and covered with neon pigment mixed with a transparent base on top, or treated with false eyelashes.

The lightest ultraviolet make-up.

1. The eyes will need to be painted with black, while highlighting the arrows and / or patterns with neon.
2. For a more glowing effect on the lips, you should give preference to pink with the addition of white.

By the way, if you can't buy fluorescent cosmetics, you can buy neon acrylic paints. It is recommended to mix them with a cream before using on the skin.

For daytime make-up, fluorescent cosmetics in soothing tones work well.

Makeup looks very simple and impressive with an emphasis on the eyes and lips. To create it, it is enough to paint with a matte base and draw arrows.

Lip highlighting also works well. Initially, a dark liquid lipstick is applied to the skin of the lips, and then an outline is drawn from a mixture of white and pink fluorescent dye.

To create a special atmosphere, the make-up is decorated with sparkles. For example, for a harmonious look, you need to cover neon shadows in front of your eyes with sparkles to match and decorate your cheekbones with them. For a softer look, the glitter can be replaced with a colorless holographic glitter.

The most popular among bloggers is recognized as a snow-white outline. As you know, it is the white color that creates the necessary glare under ultraviolet light.
